actually... why do they have to wait for bnet? just get ppl to beta test the actual game first while they are working on bnet, then do beta 2 for bnet. but honestly... I would rather they improve sc:bw's graphics then have sc2

LMAO I'm not even buying this game when it comes out now... seriously I'm getting modern warfare 2 when it comes out tuesday and than battlefield bad company 2 when it comes out in the spring and thats it for my gaming days. Those games are so much better and fun than this overhyped POS will ever be. Long live broodwar, sadly this game will never be as fun as broodwar. Obviously it must be economically for them to spend so much time on this game when you bet they will not only be drawing the $60 x 3 times from loving bw fans from this game it will also be reaching in your pocket at every corner of bnet 2.0. The long wait is probably just a time delay to let more people forget about BW and than when they release starcraft 2 everybody wants to go buy and play. Infinity ward was killed by activision and now its blizzard turn and I do blame all of this on greedy activision. But F them they are not getting a penny from me for this.

okay. If you are buying MW2 because you love it, wouldn't that be obvious you will be paying for $60 x 3 if MW 3 and 4 are coming out in the future?

Won't happen. Blizzard invested a shitton in this game, they will not let go and RTS is their domain anyway. Both Ghost and Warcraft quest games were sort of an experimental projects while SC2 is their main plan for moneymaking.

This just makes me glad. Blizzard still hasn't changed. Any other company would've said "shit we've already heald the public's attention on this for so long. We have to get this game out on the market now no matter how much more perfect it could be, before people get impatient and lose interest." They're still figuring out what to do with this game to make it as revolutionary as possible, to make all the dreams they put into their work come true. And hopefully with that kind of rare work ethic they will figure it out, eventually.

I mean they could use some better organization, maybe, or just start developing even earlier and release news even later. But few other companies seem to operate like this and it seems to show in the quallity of products.

If its any consilation it will be time to upgrade again by the time Beta comes out.
