It probably skews my view of the daily. However it is coming off as some people thinking they are above learning. Even at the basic of levels you can still learn quite a bit.
on a related note, people who don't know how to "steal a build" don't need to be told how, because they are unable even to steal a build.
You mean like how an earlier daily (not the current series) focused on a bronze player who using day 9's method had that build down to a level that was way above bronze, perhaps a masters opener? It is attitudes like this that can hurt a community. It's the same attitude that league and rank are everything. Because somebody is gold they can't comment on a platinum match, even if they know the theory and have been watching high level leagues and tournaments for years. Get off the high horse people. Day 9 puts a lot of time and effort into the daily and it shows. If you've moved past what you think you can learn then move on. Hire a coach, Become pro, or host your own show where you can tailor your show to what you want. If you can't take anything away from the current daily's, you're just not trying.
i'm not gonna argue over nothing in the holiest of holy's thread, so i will end on these brief things: rank doesn't mean _anything_ in the context of learning. but to expand on your knowledge, new information must be presented to you, and i don't see why anyone is arguing with this.
bluntly, viewers who don't concern themselves with getting better don't have any legitimate reason to comment on the daily, because the entire point of the daily is improving as a gamer, and not only are there over 100 dailies catered specifically to you, you haven't HAD the opportunity to experience the high level analysis you are _arguing against_.

Nr 313 was about larvae management, the most zergly you can get and that's just 5 dailies ago. Open your eyes to the reality
For those who wants a high level learning, it is actually better to watch pro's stream. I am zerg, idra and sen's stream really helps me a lot on things like scouting and what their attention turns to when what things happens.

The difference is with the pro's stream you learn what they're doing. With a daily you learn why they're doing it. This can of course change with commentary, but idra rarely talks and I don't think Sen talks at all. I do however support the idea of a day devoted to high end (masters+) analysis of games. But perhaps instead of whining about how he isn't giving high end analysis, people can actually post some ideas as to how he can give high end analysis.

By the time you can actually understand the in-depth reasons for everything they do in the games they stream, you probably won't need either dailies or streams anymore, just raw practice.
Also, replays are much better than either of those for hardcore analysis.

the song is Ludique - Learning the Ropes, and at this point, it's pretty much Sean's theme song

Not true, even if you have a good understanding of the game, it is incredibly helpful to watch Idra play for example. Seeing him play and trying to understand his thought-process behind all his moves and decision learns you a lot, something day9 can't do, because, well he is not Idra.
