As weird and ridiculous as it may sound, Day[9]'s 100th day9 daily is one of the most inspiring things I have heard from someone who is such a whole, and unselfish being ever.
For anyone that has seen it, if that show didn't set you down the right path of not only commitment, and love for what you do, but love for you family, and to embrace what is around you, especially the community, then I don't know that anything will.
And it is not only his inspiring story that made it for me, but the emotion put into the story of his life, and that he was/is just an ordinary guy, but he could do whatever it took to compete at a high level, even from a young age, and still make it big.
Cheers to Day[9] and Tasteless, truly irreplaceable people, and friends of all the community.

Make sure this gets saved, or stored in more than one place :D like youtube or something ^_^

Would be so sweeeet if D9D #100 could be uploaded as a torrent.Über good work still thou!
|
Over 1300 viewers when the stream is offline. Haha. Excellent.
|
1,500 people on right now, crazy....
Finally watching the 100th episode, all the comments make me jealous for not seeing it live.

Thanks a lot for that fast upload Sean. Some unlucky people just like myself missed it and now I am really happy to spend my free day's evening watching the #100.
What makes it even more beautiful is the fact, that is not about a casted game or such, but about you and the person that you are. I have an older brother by myself and we are about the same age that you and Nick are. And yea we grew up playing Warcraft 2 and then eventually Starcraft as well. So I can really identify with a party of your story and I just looove hearing all those freaky things like everyone played BGH or thought his strategy on island maps was the smartest one.
Just like approximately the other 2000 people that have just posted here in this one, i want to express my deep approval to your work, to your passion and your very own spirit. Without you it would not be the same as it is right now.
So after all there can be just one result to sum it up: Sean, we do love you! Not only for your commitment but for the real cool guy that you are!

Thanks for sharing this with us Sean .

nothing to add, just gj on everything

I'm uploading it to another location so people can view it places other than livestream to avoid any lag issues. Hopefully that'll be up in a day or so : >

Hey Day[9],
I played Starcraft back when it came out years and years ago, but never got seriously into it. I heard about all the cool e-sports stuff that went on with it, and started watching Gom tv's casts about a year and a half ago. Your brother's casting was spectacular, and really helped me to understand the strategy part of the game that I'd missed oh so many years ago. I stopped watching commentaries and replays after a little while, but got back into things once Starcraft 2 was announced.
I found your commentaries, and heard about TeamLiquid randomly when I was looking around for information, and have been hooked ever since. I've seen every Starcraft 2 Day[9] Daily you've done, and a handful of the SC1 ones. You've really managed to capture my interest in the game, and I can't than you enough for showing me how great Starcraft really is.
Your 100th cast was truly inspirational, and I can't thank you enough for sharing it with all of us. I look forward to your casts every day, but #100 blew them all away. The emotion, hard work, and love you have for the game and your family really came across in the cast. Thank you so much for your casts, and I'll be watching every one of them for the foreseeable future.

Awesome for anybody that hasn't seen it yet NEEDS to see this episode somewhere was soo good. Was a very good 2 hours .
now for episode 200 when that day comes (assuming and hoping you keep going for even longer )

This cast was amazingly inspirational because it hit so close to home.
The main thing I took from it is to be unapologetic about what you're interested in.
Until last night I usually kept the nerdy/gaming side of me hidden from other people so usually whenever they ask me 'hey whats up?' I reply 'oh nothin.' After watching this though I almost WANT them to ask me that so I can say "I'm playing Starcraft - the greatest game ever! blah..blah blah"
I no longer have to keep that side of me hidden because now I see there are people out there like Sean who not only tell other people about it, but go a step further and share their excitement about it.
I'm going to try to do the same from now on.
