Brazil are as much a name as anything these days, really don’t think they’re a particularly good team, but hell of a scalp for the Norwegians! Fun stat, they’ve extended their run of 4 games to 5 now as the only team Brazil have ever played and never beaten. 2 draws 3 wins to Norway now

I'm not shocked because our top level has been great for a while but still, holy shit. Amazing performance. Nyland is supposed to be our weak link but he was just great. Haaland scoring twice doesn't surprise me anymore though lol.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. Norway is so easy to root for. Since Germany is out, they are my team now. Let's go all the way!

Losing to Norway with 33% possession and calling up Neymar and subbing him in in a crucial moment instead of someone with working legs is just piss poor from Ancelotti

But to me the main difference is that you see talent in Germany and Italy for the next years so one can put this behind the back and focus on the next objective. For Brasil it looks a little bit more dire. I'm not sure if they have top level talent to replace their older players. Im sure they will come up and come next WC this comment will be irrelevant, but as of now, several areas seem lacking for future talent, which is something i dont ever remember seeing in my lifetime.

Kudos to Skjeldrup setting up both of Haaland's goals from the bench. The first one was a thing of beauty! Great pass, and then Haaland stole the space in front of the defender for a clinical finish. Nyland should get to a new team ASAP! He has barely played for his club for a long time.

Their fullbacks aren’t exactly vintage stock and their midfield isn’t amazing either. Although partly down to Ancelotti often deploying a midfield 2 so he can deploy more of that attacking talent.

I suppose it was inevitable in that stadium with the conditions and the Mexican fans. The ref and VAR did really, really well in this game. If we're going to criticize when they get things wrong, we should acknowledge when they get all the major ones right and keep control of a sassy match.

What a dumb tackle to get the red card...England players were gassed at the end because of all the defending.
