Both Lineker and the tories have played that little game perfectly and the big loser is the BBC because everyone agrees that they have been really stupid.

So it was a bad tweet, but the BBC just went a little too far with how they reacted, all they literally had to do is say "the views of our employee's are not of our own" and then its all swept under the carpet. Now, we have the left going mad saying the BBC is run by the tories, you have the right going mad saying he has no idea what he talking about and its all utter chaos for something no one really cares about Gary Linekar's opinions on things lol. The people who lost out are the ones who wanted to watch MOTD and like it. As of late last night, the BBC chief executive did an interview saying they are doing all in there power to get Gary Linekar back onto match of the day.

It's the epitome of irony for the BBC to suspend an employee for voicing their own opinion when they have a statue of George Orwell outside their headquarters. I'm sure it has absolutely nothing to do with the Chairman of the BBC being a Tory donor who (allegedly) helped facilitate loans for Boris Johnson.

I can't see how you can possibly claim to have read my post Also it wasn't like that penalty was the 6:0. No it was the first goal. The goal that broke the defense and opened the floodgate. That does something to a team
