Was good game considering both teams are missing so many players, from a personal point of view, starting to see a bit of a sign of how Potter wants to play and his players taking it on board. We have now 13 days to prepare for Fulham and i expect another huge improvement going into that game which will be nice.

I don't really get Liverpool's signing of Gakpo. Generally, the price was a steal - a good buy for a top club. But what Liverpool lacks, now and long-term, is a solid midfield spine. Their midfielders are aging. I understand that their strike force is lacking some bite due to injuries to Jota, Firmino, etc, and the new signings like Nunez need time settling in. Still, I would've thought the Gakpo money could've been better spent on a midfielder (like Kudus?) or even defender. P.S. Personally, I feel Gakpo is overrated. He had an above average WC - devastating against weaker teams but still unproven at the highest level against top teams. Let's face it - Netherlands had such an easy group and bracket until meeting Argentina. I haven't seen his league games for PSV. But I'm guessing he's at a level below the likes of Musiala and Moukoko.

The Gakpo deal is quite fairly priced. But I understand less of the 'footballing' idea behind the transfer for the current Liverpool team (aside from the aim of buying an exciting but unproven young prospect who will only flourish in 2-3 seasons and not an instant starter - but if that's the real aim, then the deal is overpriced).

Oh well. Only some spurs level choking will cost Arsenal this league, what a terrible season this is going to be, more of a fluke than Leicester!

Watching Eriksen walk around in midfield doing nothing to help protect the lead or start counters, then arguably same to be said for Weghorst who could not get the ball, so why not sub them off and put some legs on haha. Oh well. Only some spurs level choking will cost Arsenal this league, what a terrible season this is going to be, more of a fluke than Leicester! I relish in people hating this season tbh

How effective was Wout Weghorst? I've always been a big fan but it did surprise me that United brought him in
