But I have a question for those who have: How's the extra time? Are they taking a page from the WC handbook or is it same as always? (I mean, PL games generally don't have quite the same level of time wasting as WC games do in general, but even then, should be noticable if they follow the same 'rules'.)

What can you tell me about Andreas Schjelderup. Although i cant pronounce his name it looks like Benfica is closing on him for 10+6M for 80%. Is he good?

Impression I'm left with is he's not a haaland/odegaard level talent, but he has been improving a lot from 16 to 18. He seems like a very reasonable guy (going to nordskjelland while having offers from a lot of genuine top level clubs, going to benfica as a next step) is really sensible, and if he is as good as some papers claim, I can see him have a very bright future, and that you'll get to sell him for quite a bit more in three years.

I hope this Andreas guy come already in this transfer window and we can hold on to Enzo for 6 more months and maybe, just maybe, we can do some underdog Cinderella story on the CL. We have a lot of young talent on this team. António Silva is 18, Enzo is 21, florentino is 22, Gonçalo Ramos is 21. Let's see what happens.

I mean haland was a meme at first as well From what I've been able to gather, he's still very unrefined and inconsistent. He misses quite a lot of sitters, which isn't good at all and makes great meme material. Meanwhile he also finds a lot of passable chances, creates all kinds of chaos and in general seems to contribute quite a bit on the attack even if it's not necessary goals or assists as often as you'd like. So, overall probably not as consistent a goalscorer Liverpool had initially hoped and can be really frustrating at times, but looks way more unrefined than hopeless or outright underwhelming to me.

Do you think Newcastle would be where they are without the ridiculous cash influx they got? Was haaland ever a meme btw.? I don't think so. He was a beast all the way since his time in Salzburg imo.

I think Haaland is part of the issue for how Nunez is evaluated. Nunez had a super dumb red card but afaik he hasn't performed badly aside from that - strikers that dominate their first PL season are really rare. But Haaland has and Nunez was Liverpool's signing that was supposed to 'match' City's acquisition. That, he certainly hasn't done.

If Klopp wants Nunez to directly replace Mane or replicate Haaland, then it's a mistake. I'm guessing Nunez was brought in to bring in some joga bonito spark to Liverpool like Coutinho and Firmino. But I doubt he can adapt so quickly to EPL. The only reason why he's being expected to make an instant impact is his transfer price tag.

He's not Haaland but then again, I don't think you've seen a Haaland-like finisher since peak Cristiano Ronaldo?
