but who knows maybe he wanted to see what PSG was going to do. maybe he got threatened to sign it, cant put anything past PSG's president. Perhaps, equally Mbappe seems to want to be given more money than god, but also complain about the quality of the squad, or basically everything.
He’s this generation’s top player, I don’t think that’s arguable but his demands have frequently strayed into pisstaking territory.

He had the chance last year

Maybe this is the time for ManCity to try their luck at signing him. That would cement their status as the best club in the world, beyond Guardiola. I hope not, but which other club could sign him this year, both financially and as an attractive destination for Mbappé?

it would never happen but if city went and threw 150 million at mbappe to replace 100 million grealish and there werent any consequences i would fly to the etihad and burn it down myself

Wouldn't Foden be the one to be replaced? The point is, Real have no real incentive to pay a huge sum now, when they can have him next season without a transfer fee. That could open an opportunity for other clubs, but of those that could afford it (Real, Chelsea, Newcastle, ManU and City) only Real and City would have a chance. And having Guardiola as coach could be a big point. With only one year left on the contract he would also be relatively cheap probably. Mbappé, Haaland and KdB would actually work, unlike Messi/Mbappé/Neymar and come fairly close to a guaranteed CL win.

If M.City has Mbappé and Haland with Pep as coach I would probably would stop caring about the Premier league at all.

I honestly don't think Mbappe works in a squad thats not tailored around him. His head is way to big for that to share the spotlight

Based on that logic, he should sign the extension with PSG. Real has other big names, and while he would be the biggest star on any team he plays for, the team won't be tailored solely around him.

I hope he stays out of the Premier League because, at the moment, Real Madrid seems to be the only non-PL team that could challenge City.

He probably should extend his contract yes. That level of power he has right now at PSG right now is Messi level at Barca AFTER he won them everything thrice over. He won't get that anywhere else. Like he was rumored to have a paragraph in his contract where he could veto or wish for players to transfer and stuff. On the other hand CR7 made it work for him at Real. He came as ONE starplayer and become THE starplayer. I just don't think that is something that flies in the PL

But it wasn't just Ronaldo that made Madrid work. I mean Real were still dangerous even when he was not playing.

As much as that real team was full of super stars and a great team, ronaldo was a big reason they won so much

450 goals in 430 games is a slight contribution, yes

Well the USMNT luck finally ran out. Gg Panama.

Was transitting in LA and sitting in the airport lounge as the penalties were happening. Barely any audience and only a minimal reaction among the crowd as you guys were knocked out. Rather amusing to observe.

There is no way that Messi with his family in Miami's Publix store is NOT staged. Unless he and the Club have a massive security force that basically shut the location down. And only allowed those through that had been checked etc.

Contract signed.
Tickets, which is tomorrow, are $30 bucks. Rumors that Shakira and others are set to perform. Which would be ironic lol

Man Milinkovic-Savic went to Saudi too? News to me but along with Ruben Neves feels a shame

Yeah they targeting the not actually over the hill players now. Fabinho about to sign as well. Maybe we should worry.
|
Why worry? This is great news, good players going to saudi means there will be more undiscovered talents playing in big clubs. Its as if there would be a sixth big league in Europe which is just great for football
