![]() THE GODFATHER OF ALL THE SPORTING DIRECTORS! One of the greatest pleasures that come with playing football is winning, and this gentleman here is a serial winner. Took an avarage Sampdoria in 2004 and took them in the Champions League. Took over a 'falling' Juventus in 2010 and by the time he left in 2018 'the old lady' had conquered almost everything possible while arriving in two Champions League finals. This guy makes miracles with and without a budget, he brings stability, discipline and a true winning mentallity to the teams he takes over. If this Inter team makes it to the Champions League finals, Marotta is definitely one of the main reasons why, yet no one is really talking about it. No money? No problem! ⬅️ Sold Romelu Lukaku for €120M ➡️ Brought Edin Džeko €0M ➡️ Brought Romelu back on loan for €8M ⬅️ Sold Achraf Hakimi for €65m ➡️ Bought Denzel Dumfries for €14M ⬅️ Lost Eriksen because of league rules ➡️ Brought Hakan Çalhanoğlu €0M ⬅️ Replaced team’s captain Handanovic as starting GK with, ➡️ André Onana €0M. Clearly one of the best transfers this season. ➡️ Brought Henrikh Mkhitaryan for €0M to bring experience and extension to the midfield. ➡️ Bought back Federico Dimarco from Sion for €7M after the player was raised in the Academy. ➡️ Bought Matteo Darmian for €4M, and he has been one of the best acquisitions (money-wise), playing several positions and even scoring important goals. Giuseppe Marotta is one of the greatest sporting directors Serie A has ever seen, and surely one of the best in Europe too. 🇮🇹🔝 IL CAPO! WELL DONE SIR 👏

The rest was Chelsea possession with little threat and Forest just parking the bus. A point will do me though! I really don't see the teams below us getting many more points anyway.

This will be this seasons legacy for Arsenal... only to screw it up. Arsenal need to double their squad size for it to be a fair fight. They have massively outperformed expectations for this season. Its just a shame they've kinda fucked it at the end. In another season their performance would have been enough.

Well it depends how many they end up with but 87 is the average, and would have beaten City in 20/21, 81 was how Leicester's year. United won with 80 a couple of times, and with 75 once. Arsenal's win in 97/98 was less than 80. https://sqaf.club/how-many-points-to-win-premier-league/

I obviously meant in recent times. Arsenal was good enough to win the title after December but has lost it since

Arsenal was good enough to win the title after December but has lost it since You have to assume Arsenal will pick up more points between now and the end of the season. I mean what you're basically saying is that 81 is never enough, except for the times when it is, and there seems to be an excuse for every time that happened. Would you like to specify ALL your conditions first, then we can talk. Do you mean when was 81 points enough, in the last 5 years, except for some of those years?
