might as well just put the top 4 composite recruiting rosters in the playoffs and skip the formalities because they're "the best"

in teh CFL Conredge Holloway, Warren Moon, and Roy Dewalt all had throwing arms as good as Terry Bradshaw. He was considered a hard core long bomb artist. No wonder the CFL was so popular in the late 70s and early 80s. 3 Downs.. Massively Wide Field.. and a bunch of QBs that could throw bombs. is it true Terry Bradshaw started going bald when he was 13? ![]()

It is next level bad, and as you point out each new qb is as boring and as bad as the last one. Seahawks could make it competitive, they have the long week to prepare and the eagles have had some close ones lately. If there was a unwatchable prop I’d bet it on the kc pats game, it is likely boring because it is not at all close, but if it is close you know it’s because the chiefs are doing real bad and not because the pats do anything good. So the game happened and it wasn't THAT bad. But the Patriots are bad enough that a Disney-owned channel flexed Taylor Swift out of prime time TV and gave it to a competitor.

Got the #1 QB of the 24 class! Nebraska might just get back on track sooner rather than later! If we can keep Kaelin, our QB room will be something else. Just please let us get a few more WRs and at least 1 more RB.

Something seriously fishy with the team this year, even with a relatively good record, doesn't feel like anyone can match up with the 49ers though

So far seems committee got it right; as a complete casual football enjoyer, I dont necessarily care enough about what's fair, I want good games. I want to be entertained Pretty much the only thing that would have saved them from being blown out was facing Michigan whose offensive game plan isn’t conducive to blowout scores. FSU def had one of the best defenses in all of cfb but the offense was dead in the water. Orange bowl was always going to be a waste of time. Didn’t even bother turning it on. Doesn’t change how I feel about FSU being left out either. The committee is just so half assed they don’t even apply logic on a consistent basis. If it was about the perceived 4 best teams like they claim putting Bama in over fsu they would have dropped Washington and put in Georgia. If it was the 4 deserving teams it would have been fsu over Bama. But instead they apply 4 deserving to put Washington in and 4 best to put Bama in. They do inconsistent shit like this on a weekly basis. They almost surely rank their teams and then work backwards to justify the positions and no one in the media calls them out for the inconsistencies. In the first rankings this year, for example, they had Ohio State over Michigan for having a strong sos win over ND and say Michigan hasn’t played anyone. In the same ranking they have Michigan over Washington despite Washington having a win over top 10 Oregon at this point. By the committee logic Washington should have been 1 in the first poll but instead they were 5. Literally make no sense when they explain themselves FSU quit on that game which is a very ugly look and they clearly didn’t have the depth that the other top teams have. Georgia and Bama are the 2 deepest teams by far and honestly Georgia would have been on their way to a likely 3 peat if the refs hadn’t given the SEC title to Bama on the egregious 4th down conversion that clearly hit the ground. It’s honestly time to split fbs one step further like the leaked ncaa memo suggests. Make the big 10 and sec their own super league subbing out some of their bottom feeders for top tier programs willing to pay the money (Clemson, fsu, ND) because we’ve relegated every other conference to not even being able to win their way to the title. Has to be the only college sport where 80% of the teams are eliminated before the season starts While the 12 team playoff doesn’t wipe the acc and big 12 champ out completely we are likely heading towards a college football climate where a 3 loss big 10 or sec team will be ranked higher than a 1 loss ACC or Big 12. Neither of those conferences will ever get an at large bid and have been more or less relegated to the G7. Or maybe it’ll be more like power 2 lesser 2 and g5. The mid tier acc teams did still manage to annihilate the top of the g5 in bowl season

NIL did a lot to recalibrate the conferences, but the wheels were already in motion so that's too bad.
