They spent everything to make this into a contender so this could be the last chance for a lot of the players. Miller and Stafford might have 2 more years in them, but that's it. Reminds me of the Raiders a few years ago. Blew their load on getting shored up and then Carr gets injured and they've been more or less ass ever since. Anything happens to Stafford, that's GG. I must've missed the Raiders making the super bowl twice in four years or winning a playoff game for that matter. It will all be worth if they win the ring. For all their success, Saints and Packers only each made it once. I think the all in approach for the Rams has paid off.

The Raiders were spending a lot of money in bringing in talent from all over the place, trading picks and so forth. Once Carr got injured, that was that. They've been in the hunt but couldn't get it done because people left, they couldn't get the draft picks, and the Raiders were just a shit organization. It's paying off for the Rams because they have a damn good Stafford in a tailor made offense and spent money getting him the help he needs. Plus a defense that is scary as shit (comparable to last years Bucs defense).

Of course not. This Rams team is loaded to the max with talent at pretty much every skill position. That's not the point I was making at all but yeah. Agree to disagree.

He'll get hit, a lot, but he'll find his receivers. If the Bengals D can't get some hits on Stafford, it's going to be a shootout for sure. If they can, they can hold the passing attack at bay and force them to run. I like their odds in that event.
