Part of it probably is just hoping that Real doesn't have their key players on 100% form when the match arrives, but maybe there's some weaknesses to tap into even when Ramos, Casemiro and Benzema are healthy and playing well.

Oi stop spreading fake news, this is the worst tie for us as a team who can defend and Atletico are built to win competitions like the Champions league. We need all our attacking talent fit and healthy to have a chance in this one, we have played this whole season vs teams who sit in and defend and when we fail to beat it, aka like against Everton i rage at the things that are at fault, this weekend it was tactics and personnel. Marco Rose (Gladbach) Mauricio Pochettino Julian Nagelsmann (Leipzig) Jesse Marsch David Wagner and my favorite Ottmar Hitzfeld (retired. Does he do the Heynckes?)

Rose seems like the most likely candidate to me, Dortmund has a thing for transfers from one Borussia to another anyway. I don't think Nagelsmann is likely to leave Leipzig after this season. Marsch would be interesting (could also work as Rose replacement for Gladbach though ![]()

A few years down the line after he did well at another club maybe, but not now. The Schalke thing is way too recent for that. He was fired at a team fighting relegation, he shouldn't be first, second or third choice (probably not 10th choice either) at a club that wants to compete for championships in the same league.David Wagner started the "run" of Schalke this season, but is he really a bad coach or was it just Schalke doing Schalke things?

I highly doubt that Gottmar Hitzfeld is coming back, would be amazing tho. € Also his ex players like Zorc, Reuter, Herrlich, Kahn, Brazzo etc are now all in management, would be kind of weird

For each Premier League season that Jose Mourinho has completed, he has finished in the same spot in the league that he was in after 12 games. Tottenham Currently First.
