Football you have 3 years, if any alternative appears at all stable you are going to see a lot of kids taking 3 year deals instead of heading to the NCAA.
Other people wanting a thing doesn't affect things. The G-league is a money losing enterprise and probably always will be. The XFL has serious complications compared to international leagues (which is why the NBA has the g-league in reality, so prospects they want don't signing long term overseas contracts and have a Ricky Rubio situation). The XFL can't be successful financially if it plays in the fall, and it can't get serious NFL prospects if it plays any other time of the year.

100k and torpedoing your body for your potential rookie NFL season isn't a great option either.

I suspect there is way to make it work TV deals for sports continue to rise as everyone skips commercials on other types of shows. I guess we will see though. To your last point I don't how potentially torpedoing your body for 40k is worse than doing it for 100k, I have bod idea why you presume a hypothetical league would be more dangerous than college football. I also don't see why they couldn't run where ever, they are going to be based on players not able to make the NFL either because to young, or not seen as good enough. Why would a 18-21 year old NFL prospect only be able to play in fall? I also think top recruits would be worth more than 100k to a league. Trevor Lawrence could be the fave of the league for the year and is fortune worth a million to get the viewers and the credibility of a #1 pick for example.
Playing back to back spring-fall football is much worse for your body than fall-fall. This is unassailable. Trevor Lawrence playing XFL instead of NCAA has to.make 10 million per season for it to be worth it. And the XFL can't afford that.
XFL is a league for Kaepernick and Kaepernick like people who washed out of the NFL and want one more league minimum contract.

Got the schedule for Nebraska and it is a fucking murderer's row starting. I'm hopeful we post a winning season but damn. The first four are going to be brutal.

I was thinking Corey Davis too. MJJ has great upside but Stafford likes to spread his targets. Edelman is not bad too but I still favor Corey Davis over him. Thx for input.

Are the Eagles playing with no fans? They're down 21-3 and I hear booing noises being pumped into the stadium. Guess Eagles players should really feel at home.
