They were pretty spot on with the mocks. I think Fields is better than Wilson, Lance, Darnold, and Bridgewater, so imo all four of those teams whiffed. Only time will tell.

I decided to make a list of my current starting QB rankings, for no particular reason.

I'm making a couple assumptions here: #1 that Lawrence and Z. Wilson will be the only two rookies starting, and I'm leaving them off the list since they don't have any NFL snaps yet. #2 I think Watson will be out of the league at some point due to the legal troubles, but since he isn't yet, I'm leaving him on the list. And #3 that Winston is gonna be the Saints starter over Hill.

I feel pretty solid about 1-15 and 25-30. You could make an argument for Allen being higher, but he's only had the one good year whereas everyone above him has had multiple elite seasons. The 16-24 could be jumbled around quite a bit. A lot of people will probably think I have Dalton too high, but I think he's better than people give him credit for. Anyway, let me know what you think and what you agree/disagree with.

I'd put Dalton below Newton on here because he did not look good in DAL and hes on a worse team this year. Not that Cam looked any better but at least he was able to win 7 games with almost no weapons.

Not sure a get leaving Watson on the list this high is right. If he plays, his play will likely drop off. It's like not taking a big injury into account.

If I were picking a QB to help my team win a SB this year, I'd take all 6 of the guys listed ahead of him. I think he's on the decline; the cumulative abuse from taking the most hits in the last decade is adding up.

I won't be offended when people disagree, I'm curious to know what other people think about the current QB landscape. Mayfield had one of the best second halves of the season last year, and won a playoff game for a franchise that hadn't even been there in 18 years or something. To me that elevates him above Dak. Herbert will likely skyrocket up the list if he builds on his stellar rookie year. Mayfield had a very similar rookie year, but didn't build on it until year 3.

I think you're wildly underrating Cousins. Looking at that ranking I have no idea why he shouldn't be top 10.

He was 6th in touchdowns 8th in yards all on 15th of passing attempts. Hes got all his weapons coming back from last year and got a couple nice upgrades to his offensive line.

And like others I don't think watson is going to play this year.
