DB who outraced Lamar on the pick-6 pretty much sealed the game. I thought it was noticable on the short throws as well for LJ. There were a few 3rd down gimmes he missed. But yeah, both were obviously affected by the wind which both Al and Chris were harping on. Also the kickers were obviously smashed by it.

They both felt it but Lamar Jackson simply is a bottom 1/4 QB when they are calling plays that don’t have him out of the pocket and relying on his athleticism to cause misdirection in the passing game. The entire offense is built on him being genuinely great at the latter. Those opportunities dry up the second Baltimore is down. His mechanics are atrocious still and he can’t get through progressions cleanly. Passing wise, he didn’t look much different than his backups. Baltimore is going to run into the same problem every year because at some point he is going to have to pass like a normal quarterback and they will lose most of those games until he can sit and throw from that position like at least an average QB.

I'm going Chiefs 28-24, last second TD to take the lead and the win.

I think many people figured that when they saw Justin Tucker miss 2 fg attempts. Dude is automatic. Lamar does need to work on his passing more, since you couldn't tell that his backup was in.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. It looked a lot worse on TV. Not sure how bad it really is. I think they let him back in for the Bills though. No way you keep him out for the championship game.
