the texans and eagles are the only available jobs now and unsurprisingly are the most undesirable
Atlanta Falcons - Arthur Smith (Tennessee OC) Detroit Lions - Dan Campbell (New Orleans AHC/TE) Jacksonville Jaguars - Urban Meyer (Ohio State/Florida HC) Los Angeles Chargers - Brandon Staley (Los Angeles Rams DC) New York Jets - Robert Saleh (San Francisco DC) Now the jets has to worse than the eagles! The eagles at least have a history of success and their owner is patient. I think the jets is the worst spot in the nfl! 🤣

I thought general consensus was that the Jets team was the worst lol

Man I used to watch the olympics, but they only got five rings, Brady’s got six... now ... maybe seven?

If Mahomes isn't playing, then you might as well say 7. I think the Chiefs are going to be the biggest obstacle to Brady going all the way. I think the D matches up well for the Packers and the offense just needs enough to outlast any late push.

After seeing some clips Mahomes looked to fall over on his own multiple times. Its definitely gonna be a hot topic this coming week. I guess they'll play Mahones but don't risk any plays where he might take a hit again. To that I have a general question: Why even risk plays where QB is running in the first place? Because he wants the points (fame, whatever) to himself or is it faster/ more unexpected/ ... to do these plays? Mahomes is just part of a niche category of QBs who are good on their feet. Lamar and Wilson are better examples. Almost all play calls won’t allow a QB to get physical (to protect them). That’s my understanding anyways.

I think Taysom Hill is going to be the quarterback that people want going forwards. Someone who is a good passer and good on his feet (can take a hit). If Jackson got his throwing up to snuff, he'd be very scary to plan for. Wilson is good at extending plays and scrambling for yardage. I also think Burrows will be the last of the true pocket passers.

sounds like tennessee were looking for something to get him out without paying the buyout and found it, but fullmer had to fall as well.

Yeah, Fox was reporting that there were rumblings early last week that they were looking for cause.

Rivers has retired from the NFL.

Good choice, I'm rooting for Rogers to lead the Packers to a Superbowl win this season
|
I want Brady to come through and end this man's whole career. Will be fucking epic. Rodgers says fuck it and retires after the loss. I think that would be the best timeline.
|
I'm with farva but then I want the pack to be ruthless and trade Rodgers for a first and begin the glorious or horrible love era!

Mahomes cleared from concussion protocol.
I’m skeptical about the green light but also glad he’s playing. I’m part of the problem, aren’t I?

I was thinking about this and the one thing that makes me feel at least more comfortable with this then I would have been in other circumstances is that KC has made the biggest investment in Mahomes ever and that investment gets a lot worse if they rush him and it ends up ruining him (I'm looking at you WFT with RG3).
I would be way more scared this was a short term decision that was bad for Mahomes if he was on a expiring deal or was a RB on a rookie contract or something.

Lions are building a quality staff with Campbell as HC, Aaron Glenn (NO DB) as his DC and now Anthony Lynn (LAC HC) as his OC.
Also from Schefter - looks like the end of the Stafford era.

Game is delivering so far.
I love football sundays 🥰🥰
Also Stafford and Lions departing was super surprising to me. It felt like the team was finally getting together with picking up Hockenson last year then acquiring Swift this year. Package that with ur MJJ + Golladay duo and u have weapons for days. Defense needs work but that can be sutured through draft. My 2cents
My friends a big Lions/Stafford fan and he suspects Colts will pick him up.
Edit: that run by Fournette. Gotdamn

This whole thing is turning out to be a good game. That catch by Miller at the end was nice. But that Fournette run was filthy.

Think it's over. 3 scores down against Brady would need a miracle.
