Forest were absolutely terrible. Should've played the first team imo.

Sarri will show us this year that Juve winning titles is not free Is it more Sarri showing it harder or that actually is competition in La Liga now with Napoli scoring for fun and doing ok but mainly serial winner Conte has got a very good squad he crafted already with Inter. Now that guy is a serial winner for sure! Shame he was a bit of a nob at Chelsea and with the board, all be it he didn't get his transfer targets but to boot Costa out just fucked it all up!

Someone like Zola might also be available for hire as assistant manager to ease the transition. I don't think he's officially involved with any team since Sarri left Chelsea. In my books United needs a bigger rework and even with their budget it's going to involve developing some youngsters. In that sense Poch could be manager for rebuild phase though. It also feels like someone like Poch who already knows English football could be better for reworking the inner structures and cooperating with sporting directors and such. If just tactics & man management were the issue, United wouldn't be going through the whole manager like they do now. For the whole organizational structure, it could be an option try to grab someone like Tuchel next summer maybe. I'm not sure how people rate him as manager, but I'm fairly sure he has strong ideas on how to run an efficient club and understanding of how Dortmund & PSG have set up theirs.

All of this points to that it's not a problem with Ole (although he might not be the right man for the job), and replacing him with Allegri, Poch or anyone else won't just solve ManU's problems. It looks a LOT like the problems Ajax was having in the 00s, and it was only a complete reset of the whole management, and strategy for how to structure the youth academy, transfer policy etc. etc. that got Ajax back on track. It took Cruijff staging a coup at Ajax to ram that change through. No clue what ManU needs tho.
