Running on a relative shoestring, have the same colours as Inter, aren’t owned by the state of Qatar and play suicidally offensive football, what’s not to like?

No[one] is saying that Neymar is a bad football player, think most people would have him in top 5 and nearly every one on top 10 in the world. But I think many fans are glad he isn't in there club because all the drama and other negative impact he can bring to a club.

He’s still a phenomenal talent. Depending on how one reads it his desire to move to PSG and be the main guy outside of Messi’s shadow is egotistical in the extreme, or an admirable attempt to prove himself and his abilities. In an alternate timeline where MSN was kept together longer, Barca would have been a much more dangerous proposition in Europe. He probably could have got comparable money eventually too. He’s fluffed his lines thus far through on goal but in an attacking sense tonight it’s been basically only Neymar who’s contributed anything of note

Then comes the second. Sigh. Doesn’t look likely from the boys from Bergamo, but fingers crossed!

Cruel but they should have had no chance at this level... I wish they did. Would make football more fucking fun. Teams with a smart coach who can have them outperforming their wage bill actually prospering and all. Illicic being out was pretty huge. Atalanta faded pretty hard and it was a matter of holding out the 1-0 which they couldn’t do, don’t think it’s a particularly unfair result tonight. Hey at least UEFA will get better viewing figures for the French team/Qatari propaganda project advancing so there is that.
