PSG-Atalanta: PSG are favorite and have weapons to hurt Atalanta's slow defense pretty bad, but their sides are weak and it's one of Atalanta's strong points so I can see this game being a goal fest. PSG victory with at least 4 goals in total. Atletico-Leipzig: very interesting game. I don't really follow Leipzig but from what I've seen in CL, they're a pretty good team. Losing Werner most likely will hurt, and Atletico have a lot of experience and will love leaving the initiative to Leipzig. Close Atletico win, but I would not be surprised if Leipzig went through given Someone's team hasn't been extraordinary this year. Barça-Bayern: I still think it's a 60-40 for Bayern, but this kind of big game might be the motivation Barça needs to play better. Close game regardless, heart says Barça, brain says Bayern. City-Lyon: the least interesting match-up. Lyon somehow survived a bad Juve being outplayed for 80% of the 2 legs. City attacks way better than Juve. I think this time City has learned the lesson and won't make stupid mistakes that could cost them the game. Easy win for City. | ||

Both players (Vrsaljko and Correa) didn't travel with the team and they can't play. All the other players tested negative in covid tests and can play. Vrsaljko is not a big deal because he was injured recently (and he barely plays) but Correa loss is an annoyance, he is a good impact substitute. | ||

For those not following Scottish football, three games got cancelled this week due to Aberdeen and Celtic players breaching covid rules. Afaik there are no positive covid tests among the celtic players, and two out of eight Aberdeen players involved in tested positive. Game cancellations not due to sporting reasons but government giving the football community a reminder that they're in a very privileged position and will be scrutinised accordingly. | ||

Winner of Barca/Bayern is most likely to face Manchester City in semis. So we're likely to watch Barca/Bayern/ManCity VS PSG in the Grand Final. It's either Lewy with Bayern winning (i'd be so glad), or Neymar vs old Barca friends or Barca against Pep Guardiola :D | ||
