Maybe it's just and English thing but before they made winning the Europa League a automatic CL place it's hard to understand how little our clubs and fans seemed/seem to care about the Europa tournament. I'm not saying this is right or wrong. It's kind of understandable it's a second rate tournament for good but not the best teams in Europe each year. But it's also an actual piece of silverware that's not to be scoffed at too. It's an actual achievement winning the Europa League you will have played against some good sides to win it. I can see both sides. The FA cup final was once the pincial of club football in the UK. But now most clubs play second string squads and the stadiums are 2/3rds (in some instances) empty right up to like the quarter and semi finals where managers start to think they can win the thing. Maybe it's just a symptom of how the Premier League money makes it (and finishing top four for those lucrative CL places) the only thing clubs seem to care about in England. Money is both the making and ruin of UK football and everything to some extent to be honest.

Solid centre back who is good on the ball, not a desired leader they require. Will work well alongside Laporte but i doubt he fixes the rest of their issues, is a very solid defender though think he doesn't get much credit cuz of the bournemouth tag there, but he hardly put a foot wrong there and his stats back it up.

Also lol Newcastle fans, finally get someone to buy them but the world blocks it haha

Who can afford 300 million for the club and also doesn't mind pumping millions more in and ISN'T a sportswasher (either business or political) though? I can't see James Dyson deciding to invest in a club that recruits lots of French and African players for example

Look at Valencia. They finished 4th and won the Spanish cup and after that the retarded owner fired both the manager (Marcelino) and sport director (Pitarch). So....Wigan in championship got deducted points as soon as season ended and relegated for it....now Sheff Weds broke some rules and also got a 12 point deduction but that happened today.....so it counts for next season!! How awful lol
