It's less about that and more about forgetting when he got injured. I know players normally don't play well initially when coming back.

Oh I know. Was just giving some perspective on how long it might take and if he'll be 100% by the time the season starts. Granted, he has more money and better access to care than I do, so maybe he's ready.
On the topic about Nebraska, all players who entered the draft (at least 5) were picked up and signed free agent deals. We'll see how Ozigbo and Stanley Morgan fare, but I'm optimistic we'll see them this year or next on a team for sure.

A pro athlete's recovery is also influenced by their natural athletic traits and the amount of tip top therapy they can get.
Imagine getting that surgery in your early 20's and going to physiotherapy everyday with the best guys in the business. It's really impressive what pro athletes can achieve these days. Just remember AP after he came back from the same injury.

I'm tore mine at around age 23-23. Didn't get surgery until I was 31. I'm no professional athlete but I am/was pretty athletic. I guess that makes sense. If I had the treatment AP or Jimmy G is getting, I'd be a beast. I'd also be in the league and not in Chicago watching the snow from yesterday melt.

He is the running for best GM in my opinion (all depending if you consider Bill a GM or not, because you can't argue with the pats success). Oh yeah, Ballard is doing a pretty good job as a GM. Two rookie All-Pros drafted last year (One of them also became defensive rookie of the year), that says something.

Chris Ballard is arguably the best GM in the league right now - making ALL the right moves and the Colts have quietly amassed a really solid team all around, and most of their veteran players are trending upwards.
They will be a force to be reckoned with this year.

They will be a force to be reckoned with this year. If it weren't for all the injuries that plagued them early on last season, I think they'd have a better start than 1-5 (And even then, they put up a fair fight against their opponents. Even against the Patriots on a TNF road game). During the playoff game vs. Kansas City, I am fairly certain Al Michaels said something among the lines of "Have you ever seen a more dangerous 6-seed team?"

The XFL will have games on Sundays at 2pm. http://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/26683501/xfl-games-air-espn-abc-fox-properties
i guess they are starting in spring 2020 , 1+ weeks after the Super Bowl.
Live sports is one of the few TV shows that can't be viewed on-demand and this is a factor in TV networks going after all the live sports programming they can get.
According to a blurry image of a schedule that has not been verified by ABC, ESPN, Disney or Vince Mcmahon/XFL the league starts on Saturday February 8th . 2020. The season is 10 weeks long. More than half the games will be on Broadcast TV. That amount of broadcast TV time is a win for the XFL. https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/SB-Blogs/Breaking-News/2019/05/XFL.aspx
EDIT : broadcast schedule verified.. and i found a version of the 2020 schedule acknowledged/verified by the XFL. + Show Spoiler +
is this more broadcast US TV time than the NHL?

One of the reasons why I wasn't too upset about the Niners cutting Foster is that the dude just can't stay healthy. If anything, his health has been a bigger impediment to his staying on the field than the fact that he's a dumbass.

Unlike GT, Nebraska is trending upwards. Steeply. But I agree, a little projecting on my part. a little preseason shit talking is healthy.
