There's a couple of episodes of drama out there for the taking, and you couldn't write how badly McLaren has fumbled this season. I'm pretty sure the swap in Monza really hurt Piastri's relationship with the team, and that spilled onto his on-track performance.
Lando *should* have it, but there's far too many variables. People meme on Ferrari for 2008, and McLaren has the chance to do the funniest thing.

The pass on kimi was huge i agree, its a shame he has been receiving death threats from max "fans".
Who are you asking? Of course Merc is not helping McLaren? I said Max needs cars between him and Lando and used Merc as an example because they are the most capable to do so.
The guy who said "merc will probably help mclaren because they are a client team".
Really galvanized to see this 3 way battle going into the grand finale. I'll play it safe and predict Norris will win the championship without winning the race.
Norris only has to finish top3 to win the championship anyway.
Exactly the same scenario happend in 2016 with hamilton and rosberg. rosberg was 12 pts ahead and hamilton tried to drive as slow as possible at the final ~ 15 laps and hoped that other drivers could surpass rosberg, who was 2nd during these laps and finished 2nd.

Ah, check. It's better to quote a post you are referring to when it's not directly above your reaction, for clarity.

Yeah, Max had to count on drivers from other teams, not quite ideal. Charles did his best but unfortunately the Mercs didn't get it right on this track.
Big kudos to Max for doing everything he could to come back in what was supposed to be a boring season and McLaren for keeping it interesting. Unfortunately, Yuki was too far away to make anything happen, and Max had to 1v2 the season, no Perez heroics this year.

The irony being that if they hadn't, Max would have taken the title
