He clashed with Cantona, Keane, Beckham, Staam. He picked people out who were going to cause issues and shoved them out. Rooney also i guess he clashed with. Mourinho has gone about it the wrong way and is not only against the players but also stupid Woodward who is the biggest problem Yanited have right now.

Woodward or the lack of a strong person in the club is their biggest problem, I agree. Right now they don't have an identity and it shows.

He has the creative player a "bit" in Pogba, the big strong striker in Lukaku and the work horses like Matic, Herrera etc but he has no defense. Yes he himself has not helped in buying Bailly and Lindelof who have been average at best, but he was denied his signings in the summer it seemed. He was chasing the likes of Godin, Maguire and others, all no bids made or refusal from Woodward. When a guy like Woodward who has not got anything to do with football scouting etc denies a coach signings because "they aren't yanited players" is just daft. This is why Mourinho is acting like he is as well, he does not deal well with being told no when it is in the transfer market. This is what finished him in both Chelsea stints when he did not get what he wanted in the transfer market. This is what will finish him at Yanited it seems.

https://twitter.com/derWinterbach/status/1046478115734720513?s=09 The part where the "she said no several times" comes from the confidential document of Ronaldo's lawyer. It was a questionnaire that lawyers normally prepare for their clients to answer so they would get all the statements/evidences and clear picture in order to prepare for their defense in the courtroom. Due to the fact that the document in question is leaked, it is very likely that it wouldn't be admissible in the legal proceeding (therefore it would not be used as an evidence in the courtroom because of the nature of its origin), but at the same time because it is under lawyer-client confidential status, what Ronaldo said during the questionnaire could be true since he had to tell his lawyers the truth of what happened.

Playing like we are now is also great and entertaining, but so was the Mourinho first iteration.

I guess if you're a rabid fan of the team who is doing the parking, it can be entertaining, but as a neutral observer, it was eye-gougingly boring football. Were you two also fans of Greece 2004?

This is all so weird, i am 80% convinced by this women's story that Ronaldo did in fact have consensual sex with her, but all this hush money and scared to say anything is where my 20% "doubt" if you can call that enters. Ronaldo had no power in 2009, he was just signing his summer deal to join Real Madrid for a World Record transfer fee, yes their is no doubt in that. He had not won a Ballon D'or he was not dubbed the worlds best, he had none of the power he now holds, with a vast amount of wealth behind him. This isn't like a Harvey Weinstein case neither as this is just a regular woman who had a normal job, she wouldn't be banned for Holywood like the women Weinstein abused/raped etc. Ronaldo was just a celebrity with money.

Tomato, Tomatoe. Expanding on this, the different between Sarri style of possession and even post Messi Pep style is way different to what he gave us at Barcelona. He has defo evolved off that style of just keeping the ball and getting bailed out by Messi it seemed, because boy it was not fun to watch that. However his Man City side is way better at scoring it feels and the Bayern side he created was weird and interesting too.

Except that Pep's Barcelona didn't usually win 1-0, it generally won with large margins. And not just against small teams. There was the famous 2-6 in Bernabeu, for instance (as well as a 5-0 drubbing at home the next year). You just hate them because of the disgraceful refereeing in the 2009 CL semi-final, but other than that, Barça was on a tear that year in the CL as well, among others, crushing Bayern by 4-0

The boring 80% possession games is when Pep didn't create what he had now. Like i said, during second or third season in charge of Bayern they were playing a lot faster paced and more fun to watch as they conceded more and had to score more. Man City as well, they were getting pummeled in his first season then in the second season managed to win the league, but still wasn't without having to come from behind or play faster and better than before. I am not the only one who thought like this whilst watching the 80% possession Barca passing it around the back not shooting, i concede that probably only Chelsea fans liked what we were watching though.

There is a reason no one gets hyped for a "top" game anymore if Mourinho is involved and that is because it will just be bus parking and it always was that way for Chelsea too.
