So despite losing that awful match, still the most successful year since the 90s by quite a big margin. They won the double under Frank de Boer, but failed hopelessly in Europe those years.

I hope Liverpool don't regress next year, it is borderline unfair that this wasn't enough for the title.

We played a weakened team due to injuries/tiredness so that wasn't to bad because i think next season Leicester will be a real tough game under Rodgers. So i am happy there. City and Scouse duel ends with City on top, next season going to be madness. Good luck to Yanited though boy oh boy they are going to need some help.

So to somehow lose the league they'd have to lose to De Graafschap in the last match by about 10-0 and PSV win their match 5-0 (or anything else to flip a 14 goal advantage). Somehow the double doesn't feel so good though. Missing out on the finals still hurts.

I think that Liverpool will regress marginally, but I think Man City will probably stay as good or probably get even better. Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the EPL goes the way of other leagues and City starts running away with the title for several years in a row.

Aguero has at least another 1-2 good years left and the City team is pretty young as well. They will keep spending to remain on top while I'm not sure Liverpool will get that privilege. They only got Allison and VVD because of the Coutinho money.

You need big motivation to win leagues and city players are all satisfied with Pl now. They will rather focus on CL. Liverpool on the other hand improved greatly afzer their shock defeat against city and became the strongest team in the world after that You could have said exactly the same thing last year and you would have been wrong then, too.

You think Rooney Giggs Scholes were like "oh 2 titles is enough let's focus on CL now?"
