Griezmann simulation leading to a freekick leading to a goal, already two times the VAR fucked up in the most important game of those last 4 years. Also Griezmann penalty against Australia. Nîmes Marseille, Guinguamp PSG and I've barely watched any ligue 1 game since the start of the season. It's slowing down the game a ton, it leads to anticlimatic goals, it's ruining the fun. It's very very far from being black and white as you describe it. I was initially in favor of VAR but the more I see it in action, the less I like it. I'm willing to give it a few years of refinement but I hope the governing bodies will at least take the time to properly assess if it's worth keeping or not. If it were to stay as it is right now, it would be a big no for a lot of football fans. The problem with this discussion is that VAR is being attacked for things it has nothing to do with. The Griezmann dive was not reviewable. And every time I read about anticlimactic goals I wonder why no one ever attacks offside, because that probably called/calls back about as many goals as VAR. Just to be clear, VAR still needs loads of work. It had a terrible start during the first day of Bundesliga, sadly can't find gifs from the Wolfsburg v Schalke shitshow where it fucked up at least twice, but at least criticize it for shit it actually can be blamed for.

Probably he is more expensive than all the other teams of the league together.

They sell young players with a buyback clause. Then, if the player shows promise they just buy him back. In this case they either earn 8M on useless player, or earn developed player for 22M. In either case its peanuts for them. Of course there is the case of Morata, too. They tried him, then sold him, then bought him, then sold him again(to Chelsea for double the price, LOL).

Honestly, the only 2 teams worth anything in pot 4 are Inter (wtf, how did they end up in pot 4, below, Ajax and PSV) and Gala. The rest should all be walkovers for almost everybody in pots 1-3 (and that is including PSV and Ajax, who I kinda doubt can walk over anybody, but really, Hoffenheim, Young Boys or Club Brugge should be easier than BATE Borisov or Dynamo Kyiv, and those both got dispatched with ease).

By not qualifying enough, they only played in Europe twice and only got to GS/Ro16 in EL, that isn't a lot of ranking points. Both PSV and Ajax have played in Europe every season and both reached CL group stage at least I think, the bonus points for that are probably more than Inter got for winning games. It must be noted that I actually quite like Liverpool and really enjoy their style of play. But this guys is annoying as hell and doing my head in.
