the old lady facing off against young boys
B, C, H are the real interesting groups here, for me.

Poor PSV. Thats like a nightmare of a draw for a Pot C team.
Group D is a qualitive joke, but at the same time probably the group where all 4 teams are closest in strength.
Bayern and Real completely lucked through this group draw...
In group F I actually believe that behind City being locked in #1, the 2nd place is contested by all 3 other teams.
Group H and Group B probably share the strongest "3 team punch" and kinda deserve the group of death title.

I think B looks like the strongest group when considering all 4, but C is my first choice for top 3.

Group A is a freaking disgrace, not just Spurs this year getting a tought group out of the English teams. Scouse and Yanited are going to have a hard time. City should be fine in theres.

Wow PSV haha. Ajax's group is doable if they continue playing like they are at the moment, and I fear they will. That said, Portuguese teams tend to get the better of Dutch teams.

Another tough group for Spurs, just hoping the new stadium is done in time for Messi to play in it.

wowww
rosenborg's goalie Andre Hansen is a fkn god. Was completely crucial for Rosenborg advancing over Ajax last year. This year, we were up 3-1 after the home field game against Shkëndija. Been completely dominated in the away match - but it's still 0-0 with him having saved two penalties in the first 50 minutes. (and been great the rest of the time, too. ) they weren't even bad penalties..

Nuts how every year Spurs get toug tough tough groups and every other English side normally gets a gimme. However this time 3 of the 4 English sides get very tough groups where as Man City seem to have turned into Yanited in getting the easy groups every season lol.

City got an easy group because they are the top seeded team. I don't really think shaktar, lyon and hoffenheim is worse than average looking at seeds #2 #3 and #4. Honestly I think the only groups where #2 #3 #4 are stronger are the groups with english teams. :p

I think barca juve psg's groups are harder only because of the english teams. City couldn't get those. A might be slightly better cuz difference between dortmund > shaktar is bigger than hoffenheim > brugge. D E G are about the same or worse.

Fair enough i get what you mean because the English sides are lower seeded all time.

A lot better. They went from 12th two seasons in a row to 4th last season. In 2017 they named Mateu Alemany as general director and Marcelino as coach and both have improved the team a lot. The transfer policy improved a lot, and Marcelino is one of the best Spanish coaches as he showed previously with Villareal.
It can be a tough rival. Last year they got results in liga against the top 3 like a 2-1 victory and a 2-1 defeat against Madrid, a 2-0 victory against Atletico and a 3-2 defeat against Barcelona.
