I think the whole backbone of mourinho style is his defence. In his 3 years he has been forced to make do with the deadwoods in those areas like smalling and jones. Without a fortress at the back, his tactics just doesn't function. I'm not sure how involved was he in the purchase of lindelof and bailey, so I can't conclude who is at fault for not having the defence fixed. | ||
