Cesc said to an interviewer last night that if there is news now it means he has signed a new deal at Chelsea lol.
But the article that is being quoted and thrown around is from an interview 2 months ago which was before he said he wanted to become a Chelsea legend like Lampard and Terry.
So yeah no one knows what is going on, it is one thing one day and one thing the next.

Don't know another interview with paper in England has him talking how he loves to play in front of Stamford Bridge because fans so close to pitch and likes to hear them tell him to do magic and stuff.
My gut says different every day. Up until today i thought he was gone but now its back to i think he stays or he really is trying to bait Madrid and they have yet to make an offer. Literally won't know until summer though as he doesn't sign a contract until then with either club xd

i think that he says he has made up his mind but doesnt announce anything means he's gone

Man United is a super strong team when they aren't being bitches.
If they get the right coach and a couple of pieces in defence they can contend for the title.

we have the highest point tally of all pl teams post solskjaer so the team definitely has what it takes to contend already

I mean it's been a fairly soft round of games but 10-1-0 in all competitions so far.. He's putting in one hell of an application. If Chelsea loses away against city tomorrow then they will already be top 4. I mean, the next three games (CL home vs psg, FA cup away vs Chelsea, PL home vs Liverpool) are extremely important, but as long as they get say, one win and one draw and avoid any demoralizing humiliations, then it's hard to imagine this season collapsing. And even though I don't think they're gonna maintain a 91% win rate/undefeated record for the rest of the season, as long as they get CL next season, the season has to be considered a success post solskjær.
And with the status he enjoys with the players, staff and fans, I don't understand why they'd want to fire him if everything keeps going swimmingly, even if he is a managerial no-name.

I wonder what Solskjaer has to achieve to get people to admit that he's the right guy for the job at united.
Maybe he's not so good at buying players or something and they need to put someone in charge of that but the way he's turned their season around is incredible. Why would you change that?
|
Why doesn't ManU just sign a contract with Solskjaer to manage the team...
|
Why would they, he isn't going anywhere and it is almost impossible that they keep this form until the end of the season. Why sign him now if he could lose the next 5 in a row and get humiliated in CL at any point if there is absolutely no upside to it.

Morata just had a moment of brilliance. A high through ball, he brings it down silky smooth in full run and lobs over Courtois. It was called offside (just), but the control itself was world class stuff.

Somehow, Solari plan is working. He has been playing lately Reguilón, Vinicius, Llorente, Cebollos, etc. and benching players like Isco, Bale, Marcelo, Asensio, etc. He took some risks but it worked.
Still, Most Real Madrid fans think he should play Keylor Navas as the main goalkeeper. He has been more safe than Courtouis this season (compare Courtouis today against Atleti with Keylor against Barcelona some days ago).

People still doubt his ability simply because of the usual post-Mourinho syndrome. It's no secret that United has a young and talented squad (perhaps bar the back line) that has not been extremely happy playing under Mourinho's philosophy. Now that Solskjaer pretty much "set them free", everyone is back to 100% motivation. They're still in their honeymoon phase, albeit a long one, so as much as I love Solskjaer, I'd rather wait for United to start losing a game or two, and we'll see if Solskjaer is the right man for the job. Of course if we never lose again, then well I say we give Solskjaer the throne after the Queen passes away.

Especially Isco has been considered one of the brightest future stars of Spanish football and that's not going to happen with 20ish minutes a game. Asensio might have even more trouble fitting to the lineup if Hazard transfer goes through.

4 mins and Citi are 1-0 up via Sterling. That is nice
|
3-0 now
Barkley just with a brilliant assist for Aguero for the 3rd, Duck is gonna enjoy this one
|
Dude wtf is this chelsea team? Aguero's was super special but the whole defensive movement from Chelsea - even Arsenal would have scored 2-3 there
