JimmiC seems to be the tallest here at 6'5. Could you guys dunk?
I used to be able to just barely throw in the ball in the hoop for a dunkish when I was in uni, but now I can't even touch the hoop without proper wind up, and I was heavier when I was younger. I can't wait when I'm in my 40s and all I'll do is brick threes hahaha

Agree. Maybe an argument can be made for game 6, but game 7 was more or less consistent, and I say that as a Rockets bandwagoner. 27 missed 3s will never win any game.

Game 7 was a shitshow.

I think it's a case of Love being overestimated at 6'10 and Lebron underestimated at 6'8.
I'd guess 6'9 at most for Lebron. Doesn't look much shorter than Paul George, but still slightly.

Being 1,8 m (6'0 ish?) tall I've never been able to dunk. Had to play PG when I was still actively playing BB, sometimes I switched over to SG, because my 3pt game wasn't too bad. (for local bullshit leagues lol) Now I'm old. :D

Now that the dust has settled, here is my sober take on the series:

GSW should have won this 4-0, 4-1 max, but Iggy was out.
Houston played like champs for taking the Warriors to 7
CP3's absence hurt them a lot, he could have provided scoring and control when the game was slipping
7-man rotation vs. high pace team = dead.
Houston was horrible at 3 all game 7 long, They were 3/19 in the first half, but was saved by offensive boards. When both failed in the second half, and without any interior scoring to rely on, Houston got destroyed
Someone has still to give a convincing explanation on the Warriors 3rd quarter phenomenon
The refs were generally ok. Maybe they swallowed their whistle on a few fouls against the Warriors (compensating for all the foul calls on Harden?), but not enough to really make it ugly. But there is good argument against the presence of a controversial referee who was involved in the Donaghy case. But I don't know much about this to comment any further.
Would a perfect Morey-Rockets system win against a stacked team like the Warriors? As discussed here, adding Korver (more shooting) and Horford (glue guy, high IQ, great passer, inside scoring and defense) to the team, I say yes! Hot take I know but the major flaw in the system is not that it's bad, but that shooting betrayed the Rockets in the end. Morey system at around 80% is championship level.
Thompson saved the Warriors ass. His casual reefer walk after a cold-blooded 3 is so cool!
Gordon is very valuable. So is Tucker.
Harden is not yet 100% ready. Had he had a legacy game 7, he would be controversial #1 along with Durant. But it was a mere lucklaster ok performance for him.

If they ever review game 7 for match fixing, the Rockets would be the prime suspects.

I think around 6'6 is where people can dunk even without a high vertical. It's why Klay can dunk. Lower than that and much depends on your vertical. Curry and Westbrook are roughly the same height. Curry only dunks when he's extremely wide open on a breakaway.

The refs were pretty terrible for the Rockets, but they were bad over all so it certainly wasn't the only reason they lost. Rockets are now 0-6 in playoff games reffed by Scott Foster. Certain refs just have bias against certain teams and players.

Keep in mind that the 27 missed 3's in a row included 2 fouls on 3 point attempts that weren't called and the 4 point play that didn't count. If they had been called correctly then it wouldn't have been 27 missed 3's in a row.

That being said, let's see how Lebron does against the Warriors before we are overly critical of the Rockets losing without CP3 in game 7 with a historically bad shooting night. No other team has even taken the Warriors past game 5 since Durant joined them.

To be fair, Iggy was out, and it could have been over by game 5 had he been able to play.
