Michael Jordan - 7/15 - 47%
LeBron James - 8/20 - 40%
Kobe Bryant - 5/22 - 23%
Never an easy shot to make. For comparison's sake - this last regular season the league as a whole shot 93/408 - 23% on these shots.

Now, no one is ever happy when a great player has the ball at the end, but I feel like he is somehow more dangerous taking shitty threes on a turnaround fadeaway than just spot up. For some reason he's way better at these long range off-the-dribble 1-2 step jumpshots than regular catch&shoot right at the line (which he actually almost never shoots). Probably has to get some sort of rhythm he doesn't have when he just catches it.

People are calling for Thibs head and focusing on his coaching decisions. The bigger and more important question... if the Timberwolves are serious about winning a championship is... how good of a Prez of BBall Ops is he? what kind of state is their G-League team in? how is their scouting? how do they plan on developing players if the coach of the NBA club gives the bench players very limited minutes? Casey is awesome. + Show Spoiler +

welp, looks like they were prolly right about Porter playing hurt. he is out the rest of the series after undergoing some kind of procedure on his left leg. https://www.sportsnet.ca/basketball/nba/wizards-otto-porter-jr-series-vs-raptors/ this is a big break for the Raptors.

He's never going to be able to lead a team anywhere. He's been shooting 40%~ from the field in the playoffs for the last 3 years in a row, and he jacks up shots non-stop. Literally all of his teammates convert their shots at a higher rate, but for some reason he has to keep jacking up 27 ft airballs. while shooting 27 footers is not good, his teammates didnt show up (PG went 2-16, they didnt trust melo to do anything at all and was a game worst -19 plus minus), or maybe westbrook took them out of the game by shooting so much? adams the only one who did anything offensively so is westbrook the problem or his teammates. kinda like wall in washington, great individual players, but their teams just dont go anywhere.

You bring up a good point, as the finger seems to be getting pointed at Westbrook's teammates, again. Just like last year when he had trash teammates that are somehow now on the verge of dethroning the King in the East. Let's look at the facts, though. It was a 6 game series. In the first 5 games, Westbrook had a lower FG% than the rest of his team. In game 1 he shot 40%, the rest of his team shot 52%. Game 2 - 37% vs 41%. Game 3 29% vs 52%!! Game 4 and 5 were pretty close but he shot slightly worse. So in a 6 game series, the first 5 games your teammates are knocking down their shots better than you are, and in game 6 you go out and take 43 shots. PG had a bad game, no doubt. But I still don't see why we should be blaming the guy that shot poorly for one game instead of the guy that has been shooting poorly for 3 years.

Casey complained about Gortat's screens the entire series. He has been doing it all year long and continued in the playoffs. I guess if they'll let him get away with it he is being a smart player by taking every advantage the officials give him.
