- He posted stats (APM, etc.) about Wiggins and Derozan being terrible, until he was called out on it by actual experts in sports analytics. He was shamed and went into hiding
- He posted videos of landing mechanics and leg injury. This time, he gets an even more humiliating beat down and becomes the laughing stock of the thread
- He claims to know more by humble bragging about watching games live. When asked how so, he goes into an extended verbal diarrhea of non-sequitur, logical fallacies, and total nonsense like his uncle is a scout, he knows by watching players, etc. Again, he exposes himself as a know-nothing fraud.
- On top of all of these, he was challenge to a debate on these topics and many more, and he has since lurked in the shadows going down as perhaps the dumbest and most annoying poster in tl/sports.

The CBA only controls costs with regards to players. The teams still control how much they pay their coaches, scouts, gm, ticket sales teams, all the administrative bureaucrats on the business side, and all the owners' useless relatives that they give VP positions to. It also doesn't prevent the NBA team from overpaying rent to the arena that the owner also owns as a separate company (*wink* *wink*). Yeah, the NBPA can audit a few teams every year but good luck with that. The CBA doesn't control the revenue side, either. The disparity between local TV revenue is staggering. The Lakers totally fleeced Time Warner but other teams aren't trying hard enough. Same goes with ticket prices and all the ancillary revenue that teams get from nickel and diming the live experience. It all boils down to marketing. And the richer owners certainly don't owe the barely able to afford their team owners who overlevered themselves to buy their team. Some of the teams are losing money because of their debt load.

For example, does any one really know what TSN and SportsNet "pay" for Raptors' rights ? its really just a made up number. Does any one know what MSGNetworks pays for Knicks games? aren't they all owned by the same guy? again, its just a made up number.

i'm a big kobe fan so i've watched lots of his games from 2010 to 2013 ..usually on NBATV. check them out yourself on youtube if you like. his landings rely far more on his left leg as is stated in that original video i linked.

@JimmyJRaynor, there are pending challenges to a debate with you on many issues. I don't know if it was raised before, but let me issue this now: I challenge you to a debate that the claims from that yt channel you post here (whose ideas you subscribe to) are not conclusive evidence on the leg injuries of NBA players, specifically Kobe and Rose. Loser will post a picture of himself here on this thread as soon as the debate is over, holding a paper with the words "MY NAME IS (REAL NAME) AND I AM A LIAR AND A LOSER" and will be banned on tl... for life!" DO YOU ACCEPT OR RUN AWAY SCARED, JimmyJRaynor? This challenge was posted around 22 Sept 2017, 0900 KST. If by 24 Sept 2017, 2359 KST you, JimmyJRaynor, have not accepted this challenge to a debate, you will not anymore be allowed to post anything in this thread except to post pictures from your live experience of NBA games. No text or comment or any of your garbage, just pictures.

when u land on the same 1 leg repeatedly you increase the chance of injury that leg. it is better to land on 2 legs. also, i've stated this many times but i'll add it in here again. Bad mechanics are one of many contributing factors in any tissue fracture whether its tendon, ligament, bone, etc. On September 22 2017 09:07 Twinkle Toes wrote: Kobe and Rose. i don't really have much of an opinion on Rose's injuries. I know that surgery requiring tissue regrowth requires a longer timeline to return to action. That's why Rose's first knee cartilage injury required such a long time for him to get back. His most recent knee cartilage injury all the DRs did was cut away some cartilage requiring no tissue regrowth. Hence, Rose got back to action much more quickly.

We have 2 other posters agreeing with me that Derozan's defense is bad. Derozan's defense has been bad for years. do you know any one who says Derozan is an average defender or better than average defender?

After Kobe's 3rd knee operation ( which occurred before the 2010-11 season) he almost never lands on his right leg after a jump shot. Its either left leg only, primarily left leg .. and occasionally both legs. this tendency by Bryant was pointed out in the video. when u land on the same 1 leg repeatedly you increase the chance of injury that leg. it is better to land on 2 legs. also, i've stated this many times but i'll add it in here again. Do not run away now, these are words you utter yourself which we are now about to prove false. You say: when u land on the same 1 leg repeatedly you increase the chance of injury that leg. I challenge you now, the above statement is not true. Defend it on a debate, because I say it to you right now with no ambiguity, you are a liar and what you say is not true. Loser will post a picture of himself here on this thread as soon as the debate is over, holding a paper with the words "MY NAME IS (REAL NAME) AND I AM A LIAR AND A LOSER" and will immediately request a ban from the moderators of tl... for life! ACCEPT OR ADMIT ALREADY YOU ARE AN IDIOT LYING COWARD WITHOUT BEING EXPOSED IN A DEBATE?

I cant imagine 10k going at you non stop. Funny how childish and moronic KD was in the whole social media thing. I mean, there are plenty of ways to avoid being drawn in that kind of social media bashing. He can just avoid social media together. There have even been comments on twitter to shill for him. I'm sure this is done somewhere, with big interest in brand management by Nike and Adidas mostly, I suspect they have a shill-army to protect their players and divert or at least disrupt any negative discussion. He is indeed soft and sensitive. But in truth, most people are, and it's understandable for him to be affected by such massive negativity towards him. His only problem is that he is a public figure. To me this is a funny but meh issue.

I remember in the Offseason thread you were challenge by a stat guy about sports analytics. Do not coward your way out and ask me a dodgy question like that. The issue then, as it is now, is that you don't even know what you are talking about when you talk about advanced analytics. I'll look for it and post here and hope he beats your ass again.
