i guess you ignored my links.

Look no Ibaka, Thon maker, or any of the other africans you have accused. Please enough.

edit: I won't add any more on the topic. And go back to ignoring you. Just please unless you have some piece of proof about some one faking their age don't post about them lieing about it just because they are from Africa. Thanks.

Now you feel what it's like trying to have an intelligent and rational conversation but the other guy is both unable and unwilling. I'm sorry man, you tried.

this is a nice and informative chart.. i can see embiid and ball doing great.

yeah, Ibaka looks suspiciously old for someone supposedly in his prime.

Ibaka's Age

the guy i'm debating with likes to quote Zach Lowe on stuff. So, here is ESPN's Zache Lowe's comment on Ibaka.

"Look, as uncomfortable as it is to say that, the league, not the league office, teams believe that [Ibaka] is older than his listed age. So whether he is or not, or what are the ethical issues of saying that, I don't know. But it affects the free-agency market for him."

http://podbay.fm/show/1225356682/e/1498595507

so its not like i'm the only person suspecting Ibaka's age might not be accurate.

i also accuse plenty of non-Africans about bullshitting ... you know... guys like Bryan Colangelo and Roger Goddell and just about every MLSE ( Raptors/Maple Leafs/TFC) executive before Lewieke arrived.

its been confirmed shabazz muhammad lied about his age. i think other NBA-ers have lied about their age.

In other, real and relevant news:

Boston is killing it. Kyrie is better. Horford is better. Heck even Smart looks amazing.I hope Hayward returns before the playoffs and comes back better than before.

Also, I kinda like that new jerseys (not the material quality but the look). The logos are nicely integrated and they look clean and sharp.

Curry and Klay are playin' Andrew Wiggins level defense right now. I wonder when Klay and Steph will start to take things seriously?

I found the Raptors TPA Chart.

i've seen most of 3 boston games. Horford's shooting looks the same as last year. Every other aspect of his game is better than last year. Last year he looked like an overpaid Jonus Valanciunas with a 3 point shot.

Yeah it is early but they sure like the team to beat in the east not Cle. Never can count out Lebron though, they have looked bad before and he still wins the east!

Right now it looks like it will be bos, tor, was, then the young up and coming teams, bucks and phi then Cle. I have trouble believing in Det and Orl but who knows.

Yeah, lebron will be lebron. But I think the key difference this year is that the core looks weak. Last time they had Kyrie, RJ, Della, and the others and they look just out of rhythm and will eventually get better the closer it gets to the playoffs.

Now they just look old and bad.

Unfortunately, Serge Ibaka is being put back in the starting line up tomorrow night in Denver. I'd like to see the Raptors experiment a bit and play a few games without him. I'd like to see Siakam get his minutes.

Should be fun tonight watching Avery Bradley defend Ball.
i guess the arena will be pretty dead though.

Hmm uh, what? Dellavedova was in Milwaukee last year and RJ averaged 5.7 ppg on 20 minutes. That's not exactly 2 guys I would qualify as "core".
The "core" is pretty much the same as the last 2 years, except they traded Kyrie for an injured Thomas. So yes, maybe they're getting old, but for one they're lacking their primary scoring option, and two, the players haven't changed that much.

The problem is not in the players, it's lack of effort on the court, especially defensively and lack of gameplan and coaching (which is probably a bit on Lebron).

I think the Lakers were consistent between Detroit and Toronto; its just that Toronto's defense is a lot better than Detroit's. Delon Wright, Kyle Lowry, Jakob Poetl, and Lucas Nogueira are all nasty defenders.

I'll repost that rookie "Total Points Added" chart a 3rd time.

The Lakers drafted well. #27 and #30 are Lakers. Kuzma and Hart. Things are looking up in LA LA Land.
I think Jordan Clarkson has outplayed Ball by a substantial margin @ PG. Currently, its more about long term development than winning right-here//right-now. If the games ever got serious Clarkson would start and Ball would come off the bench.

I'm not surprised that last night was prolly Ball's best offensive performance. With the building as dead as a corpse and the city focused on the Dodger's World Series game it created the kind of anonymous environment a young player thrives on to develop.

Doesn't help that Lebron doesn't really start playing defense until April. The Cavs were lost last year without him too. I don't remember them winning a game that he was resting. And that was with Kyrie. They don't have Thomas yet. That team is just not built to win without their stars carrying the playmaking load.

I said last time, not last year, so I was thinking maybe 2015-2016-2017 range. I mentioned them specifically because they are defensive and veteran presence that can apparently alter the game, and Kyrie because he can produce the buckets.

Agree on the effort thing.

Bad wish at this point in time. Do you mean consistently mediocre?

They have good up and coming players, but they need time to develop and veterans to strengthen them.

And even in the playoffs, Lebron looked slow and prone to error on defense. The warriors played him like a puppet on multiple occasions and he just got more and more frustrated.
