The second one though, its sometimes baffling to me how little people have personal experience with these things and have a profound lack of understanding of how easy it is to get nutmegged as a keeper when you have to spread yourself.
You're not wrong, but it just looks terrible and it happened 4 times today. That will get pundited every time.

Yeah I wont deny the optics of it its a fucking nightmare when the guy is 10-15 yards out with a clear sight, regardless of angle.
Well thats annoying as fuck. Barca park bus, defending via throwing bodies at ball, we hit post a total of 4 times in legs, somehow manage just one goal, having almost double amount of shots barca managed and lose 4-1 on aggregate. Jesus christ.
Defending from Chelsea is utter clueless at times and we are playing a back 5 holy crap.
Yea lets just ignore the penalty which would have been called if it favoured Barca or Madrid, like when Kroos kept throwing himself ridiculously and was given the penalty when he was OFFSIDE. Cheaters league.
Props to Chelsea, I thought the matchup would be much more in favor of Barça given the league situation, the 4-1 score isn't really justified. I guess they lost it when they didn't try much (apart from Willian) in the first leg. Your game plan can't be trying to win it in the Camp Nou.
Barça looks good but they need to control games like this much better. They take risks for no reason when they could just pass the ball, tire the opponent and commit when there's more space. Still they don't concede much, Piqué and Umtiti are really impressive.
Now I'm hoping for a Real-Barça in quarters to end Real's season once and for all :D

Wasn't even Messi, we pass ball to him first leg for a goal. Second leg Tibo gifts him two because he shat the bed hard. Was embarassing performance at the back, absolutely embarassing. Had so much ball, so many chances, so many missed opportunties. Cesc has lost a yard of pace and "brain" this season and unless he has 5 yards of space with the ball in and time he is woeful. Our plan always seems to be cross the ball, which yeah thats good, yet none of our players can cross a ball to save their lives, none of them. Game made my head hurt and summed up Chelsea this year, glimpses of great football but mostly just comical defending which would make the class of 2005 turn over in their graves.
Yeah not getting that stonewall penalty was pretty disgraceful, but can't even blame ref here as we needed 3 goals in the end and that would have only been 1. To dominate a game so hard and lose 4-1 is just crazy.
Yes, pulling a guys shoulder when he is in the box no matter what is a foul. He went down easy yes name a footballer who doesn't lol, but he went down after having his shoulder pulled back thus it's a penalty. I hate this "he has gone down to easy" shite we are getting now, a foul is a foul no matter if guy gone down like he been shot or not. Anywhere else on pitch referee gives the foul.
Chelsea first game 11 shots vs 7 shots, game ends 1-1 (2 post hits for chelsea) Chelsea second game 14 shots vs 8 shots, games ends 0-3 (2 post hits for chelsea)
I mean what more you want, hit bar or post a total of 4 times vs Barca 0. We out shot Barca and out created them, just didn't take chances, if that isn't doing "dominating" then i guess we literally need 80% of ball to dominate a side then which is a bit weird.

I dono about that, I agree a hand on the shoulder is stupid, but he would probably have scored if he stayed on his feet imo. I am ok with those being given either way as long as its consistent across a game.
This all so much gold btw. SO much quotable contradiction born of emotion.
He was the last man and it was a lot clearer than penalties they get when it's in their favour. Like Kroos' was much softer and he was on the edge of the box near the corner.
Then the game would have been 2-1. Then they would need to score 1 and concede 0 to qualify. But, sorry boys, UEFA is not on your sides and here get a yellow card just to make it even more impossible. Ah, and Barca dives and referees favouring them even in Chelsea's home also helped them bits. Of course it wasn't as disgraceful as that past scandal, but still cheat.

Please, can you stop talking about cheating every fucking match. It is so annoying.
Have you ever think that sometimes referees have mistakes (like players or coaches) and that every match is not a cheating conspiration?

You're from Spain, of course it annoys you because it favors you. I can't because every team I cheer for is the complete opposite.
No, because these "mistakes" always predictably favor those who are to be favored. So, no, it's not even a conspiracy, these are facts with evidences everywhere, you only don't see if you are blind, ignorant or it is convenient for you to "not see".
PS: only accident of something that didn't end as arranged was the Spanish Super Cup, but because of utter incompetence, as they did get a "penalty" on Suarez dive to try to get back in the game but still failed.
