Can we unban N1E and let him entertain us for a bit please? Oh didn't know someone from Australia (also insignificant at football) was also mod? I guess you missed yesterday's post where I pointed out UEFA fraud Messi's dive to beat Atletico? This game was already decided when Kroos constantly dived in Bernabeu and managed to get a penalty when he was offside. And the comeback chance was over when Neymar was injured by disgusting shameless cheaters European referees. And by mediocre Emery (and PSG for that matter, the direction played a role) in benching Draxler among other stupid things. Easy to look good when you play like a clown and know your 14 man team is going to be favoured. Too bad UEFALONA is back (because Neymar left) and they couldn't even beat Legones in Spain without referees: True football didn't win. No, it's USA who's not even at the World Cup after being eliminated by Trinidad and Tobago. Lmao. Neymar has his pockets full, time to prepare for Russia, and PSG exposed for that cone Cavani bullshit, 180 million teen bullshit, and average coach, goalkeeper, left-back, etc etc, and for selling the only good midfield runner (Matuidi) instead of buying squad players.

Damn it why... In other stuff, we should see lesser diving as VAR gets more and more refined. Seeing players flopping around during replays is weird. The technology is already there to make VAR better unlike having LAN in offline esports tournaments.

Can we unban N1E and let him entertain us for a bit please? I guess. But Paris didn't have the right attitude to threaten Real yesterday. In the first half they had one attempt? How do you not even try more? It's not like there wasn't any space at all, Madrid doesn't know how to park the bus (not a critic), there was definitely room to hurt them. I think Neymar would have changed some things, he has enough experience (and spine) to lead games like this. Not sure they would have qualified, but at least they would have shown a bit more. Also I think it's time for Verratti to go to another club. He's showing year after year that he's not growing both in his game, and his attitude. The red card was just stupid. Until that moment, he was actually having a good game, maybe keeping the ball too much but at least he was the only one trying, and his capacity to protect the ball is just crazy good. I wish Barça could have bought him last season, with experienced players around him, he wouldn't have to overplay to show he's the midfield boss, he would have been the next Xavi.

I honestly think over the 2 legs Rabiot in terms of the midfields on both teams was the best player. The problems from the first leg were still there. And I think its just a PSG problem in general. They rely a bit to much on one guy taking half the team out of the game and for the rest to just cherry pick off the space that his individual brilliance created. Mbappe has also gotten a bit of a schooling from some top quality individual and pair defending from Marcelo and Ramos. + Show Spoiler + Thats similar to the problem Barcelona has the last few months because Valverde plays a more circumspect style and doesn't let people push on so they are also Messi or bust. No more overloading parts of the front third to create space. You all sit in your zones and do your job and make sure you dont get countered. Oh and give the ball to Messi .. Messi you go do something.k thnx bye *close coaching manual*. Veratti is good but I spot on had the same though regarding his discipline in clutch games and the fact that he as good as he is hes not grown at all, granted he hasn't regressed either, hes literally the same player he was last year and the year before. I dont know what the reason is but its a bit disappointing.

I guess they were careful not to give Real the away goal too early, but it still seemed like PSG was going through the motions of Ligue 1 rather than playing the most important game of the season and needing at least 2 goals to get through.

Maybe it's because he's been playing Ligue 1 for so long that the lack of top tier competition put a halt on his growth.

I mean, it's not THAT bad, but it shows that they're clearly not ready for top tier teams. They lost against Lyon in january. Lyon records since then in ligue 1 is Loss, Loss, Loss, Tie, Tie, Loss, Tie. Lyon is not a "bad" team, but they shouldn't be able to scratch PSG's ankle. Yet PSG failed. They have 15 more points than any other team because they win 8-0 against Dijon and other small team. But every top 4 team had been a struggle. What did you expect against Real, barcelona or city... It's not a surprise for any football fan here in france. Only PSG supporters could still hope something i guess.

They shouldn't be given too much credit based on their ability to destroy worse teams, but it's not like them losing two games vs real proves that they had no chance before the matches were played, either. Football has quite some randomness to it, single incidents that could go either way influence how matches end up playing out..

At home had a couple of changes but never thought they were going to win the game. Still i don't think they have had a top manager yet. Maybe they will get one soon!
