I doubt he'd have a grudge against Pep anyway. edit: wow, Griezmann. Not exactly a grudge, more like extreme competitor's pride to the point where you disregard any tactical instruction and play through emotions, if that makes any sense :D

With MU failing hardcore, MC and Chelsea still finding their rhymes, and Liverpool struggling to have a consistent performance, this might be Arsenal's season to lose. But then again they were sort of in a similar position for the past years but never quite made it in the end. Hope they can win something for Wenger to retire in peace :D

1) screw up early in the season, and finish with a crazy streak 2) challenge for title for most of the season, the crumble spectacularly near the end

Gladbach's own fault really, they had more than enough chances to finish Celtic off. But to be fair, they missed their best finisher. Atletico winning every game by a one goal difference, last minute this time ![]()

Hope they can win something for Wenger to retire in peace :D Last year everybody thought that, every team was failing except Leicester, they were top of the table on Christmas if I remember correctly and afterwards just started dropping points left and right. Leicester lost 3 games all season and 2 of them were to Arsenal yet they still ended up 10 points behind when the season ended lmao. Honestly the only thing Arsenal is good at is drumming up hopes of their fans and letting them down soon after. I'm pretty sure even the most hardcore Arsenal fans are used to it by now lol

The manager is obviously pissed because this never happens for Bayern.

It doesn't happen for any other Bundesliga team that's in CL either. Idk what the DFL was thinking there.

No, Dortmund plays Wednesday+Saturday. So does Leverkusen. Mainz and Schalke play Thursday+Sunday. In fact, the only team with a longer regeneration period is Bayern. 3 days are pretty normal for any team playing internationally. What are the tears about?

Gladbach had to play Tuesday evening (DFB Pokal), Friday evening (Bundesliga), Tuesday evening (CL) and now has to play Friday evening again. Which is supposedly a lot worse than playing Wednesday evening (Pokal), Saturday afternoon (Bundesliga), Tuesday evening (CL), Saturday afternoon (Bundesliga) like Bayern did. Though unless my math is failing me, that's really not much of a difference. Regardless, usually CL teams don't play on Friday.
