I would have thought far more news worthy than this is Spurs fans been told they shouldn't wear their shirts in Moscow as it might prevoke Russian fans. Wearing a football shirt is so provocative Russian fans have to start a fight? Fucking kick Russia out of UEFA if fans can't treat other people as humans. Why the fuck is the next World cup been held in one of the most racist countries on the planet? That makes no sense. I know there's quite a few Russians active on teamliquid and I'm sorry if I offend anyone but it can't be denied Russian football fans can be rascists as fuck even if that doesn't necessarily represent the average Russian.

I'd imagine its the same deal in: Poland, Greece, Turkey, the Ukraine, Croatia, Bosnia ect. This has nothing to do with racism and more to do with stupid idiots taking their team too seriously.

edit: And I'm not talking about game day, just a regular day in the street. One of my friends had to run for his life for wearing a Juventus jersey because it has the same stripes and colors as Partizan Belgrade has. He doesn't wear jerseys anymore.
