Naah. You need a finisher. But a real badass one. Not like Müller. (Thomas Müller (7 games) has played more Euro games for #GER without scoring or assisting than any other striker.) Someone like... Podolski... Podolski is a weird player. He disappears 60 minutes. Then scores the impossible. Then disappears again. LOL Germany already have one of the best (if not THE best) midfields of tournament. But bad performances from Schürrle and Müller putting Germany behind. I think Löw should use him, especially when in dire need of goals Damn.... Even Germans called him "Mascot".. A mascot with a bazoooka on his left foot. We also were throwing lots of crosses into the box to Vardy which confused me also, maybe if we had Carroll in the box for that we would have had some chances haha! Still after the goal Germany were creating lots of chances from then on but until that goal was only looking like one winner. | ||

To go back to the Benzema topic, I don't know what you guys are on about. It's famous that he's the president's favourite. It's not even about Zidane (although it helps a bit too). Morata is Spanish, so some fans would prefer him, but he's yet to prove he can be as good as Benzema. There's no reason Benzema would leave, even for China, he's in one of the best teams in the world and he's not too old yet. And no one will kick him out. I don't even like the guy nor the team, and I think he fits perfectly into that system with 2 great scorers like Ronaldo and Bale. The only way I could see him benched for good is if Ronaldo starts playing more like a 9 because he's getting old. Even then, Benzema has the skills to play on the side. | ||
