Barca vs PSG wasn't good example tho, one of the latest let's say
Sevilla feels okay with 2:1, not the best but doable result

Rooney staying at Man Utd cause, let's be honest, who else would want to sign him.

Holy fucking shit Fiorentina vs Monchebgladbach
Fio won 0-1 in germany, easy 2-0 in Italy untill the HT... Suddenly 2-4 !!! And now they need 2 more goals

Spurs not scoring 3 goals vs gent over 2 games and just having a 2-2 draw at home kinda shows the hole that PL is in.
They'll probably bounce back obviously, but the PL lost a lot of "power" over the past few years because some god awful team board/managers decisions.

leicester sacking ranieri is probably going to be up there with dumbest decisions made this year. he won them a fucking pl title, what more do they want? 1 title and the board thinks they are suddenly top 4 material or something? they have been a relegation team forever and that isnt going to change with 1 freak season

not to mention they still had a chance in the champions league with that away goal vs sevilla
i like the sound of mancini taking over though

Wow they should have given him at least after the second leg of CL before making a decision. What a turn of events

shameful on their behalf. And I just went from cheering for them to hoping they fall down. ;p

Well, if the players don't want to listen to him anymore, what do you do? You get relegated and then change? Now they still have time to fix it, and usually a new coach will bring some extra motivation for a bit. I'm not saying that it's fair, but they can't change the players right now.

is it confirmed that the players are pulling a chelsea on ranieri? they should be bending over kissing his boots for what he did for them. disgraceful from the players if its true
also i just saw dele allis red card tackle. that was horrific

I dont even think its an issue of them not playing for him. They just arent playing well period.

Ranieri had to go, just why now made no sense. The 2-1 defeat to Sevilla was their best result in like 6 months! Since beating Man City. They have a really good chance of getting through in that game now.
Also Spurs should be banned from European football, they are an utter disgrace. I know they always wanted to be like Arsenal but to play like them in European games is just not on. A complete joke side in Europe losing to the sides they do in Europa league. Please lets not let them get top 4! They do not deserve it with their performances at all.

yeah what a joke by Spurs. Don't they take it seriously at all or what? I remember when Chelsea was in EL they got to the finals and won it. That's how it should be. I get that the EL isn't nearly as prestigious as the CL and that the league is very important in England but this is pathetic.

It looked like he did take the game a little too serious ...

I don't know why he didn't resign after winning the league last season because things would only go down hill from there. Or did he really thing that he could turn Leicester into top 4 material?

Top 4 material no one expected this season. People had them finishing 8-12th which would been fine cuz of the extra games etc. Not being on 21 points, 1 point above relegation zone, that is going from hero to zero within a few months.
My main issue with Ranieri, the biggest problem i can see is that both Huth and Morgan did an Ivanovic in the summer. Went from being the best two centre backs in the league to losing 3 yards of pace and being absolutely woeful. Some of Huth in particular mistakes are just shocking. Yet Ranieri has played those 2 every game week in week out, why hasn't he addressed that. Anyone is better than those two as a pair, try Morgan plus another. Fuchs also been poor this season but at least he hasn't been made to look at a fool like Huth has.
Oh well, Raneri like u said achieved the unthinkable and won a major trophy which will go down in history, marred abit atm but still is very huge achievement.

Hoping for good draws for our teams, let's raise that coefficient yo.
Easy games in 1/8 and then going out with a top draw in the quarters would be nice. Anderlecht fan myself but I hope all 3 teams do well here.
Edit: YUS, APOEL Nicosia for Anderlecht, that's one of the best draws they could get.
