EDIT: It's hilarious that a German is crying on this forum considering their usual reaction when fans of other teams cry after having lost to Germany. Embrace that it was good game which could've gone either way, and for the first time in a couple of years Germany got unlucky.

It was great football match no matter who wins in the end. There are only very young boys having their first final in their life. And this crowd sees the need to boo them out during a penalty shootout instead of only cheering for their team ? in what world this isnt bad sportsmanship ? i am sry but when sth like that happend in germany the home team refused to play until the crowd gets sane again. BUt hey now the world knows ur attitude since that happend in almost every Sport brazil had a chance at winning. Edit: and btw i wanted Neymar to win this so i guess i am not biased but this ruined my fun...

EDIT: In fact, German fans booed their own team in 2014 after a 1-0 victory. Talk about disrespecting your opponent...

They were actually pretty tame, I expected at least a few flares being thrown at German players.

I've seen plenty worse around the world. Since when is booing/whistling discouraged in football?

But yes, Brazil still has a shitty, shameful sporting culture in general. Nothing can excuse what they did to the French pole vaulter.
