+ Show Spoiler +I think his opponents just figured him out, he's like an old blueprint that didn't adapt with how fast MMA is growing and developping. He never had much options long range, against kicks, and if you can lock him in a clinch he can't do anything either. I guess his streak was mostly because he fought strikers with lacking ground game (Thompson, Lawler, Condit, Gastelum). The only oddity was Darren Till because of his solid background in the clinch but he was probably too cocky in that specific fight.
He's a wrestler being outwrestled by all the other wrestlers in the division ah hah.

+ Show Spoiler +Oh yeah he talked a lot of shit for someone that barely won any fight convincingly in his title run.

Just got back onto checking TL's UFC stuff, seems like it's changed? No more predictions and such like int he old days? What gives?

Wow. I thought Costa was gonna maul him. Why didn't he throw any punches? He looked scared, and he got shredded.

Costa usually doesn't throw that much in the open, he does it once he pressures his opponent against the cage. But he had no countermeasure against having his leg chewed up? I had Adesanya by KO but not that quickly!
Dead wrong on the Blachowicz vs Reyes one though, grats to Jan.

"So much for fight of the year. But [it was] domination of the year," White said. "It was weird, because if you look at every other fight Costa has had, he goes after people like they owe him money. ... No matter what it was, Adesanya put on a clinic."
That about sums it up. The taunting stuff was really, really stupid.
I think JJ has 2-3 KO losses and retirement in his near future. He hasn't fought with any sense of urgency in his recent fights, especially against Reyes, when he should have thought he was losing (and should have lost). That doesn't bode well against guys like Ngannou, imo.

Start predicting & more will follow!
Like for instance, Holly Holm vs Irene Aldana tonight?
I've honestly never watched Aldana fight, but considering Holm, I can't see her losing to anyone but Nunes or GDR again in the bantamweight division

I didn't watch the event, but judging by the results, looks like it was rather lackluster... Holm going onto a 50-45 decision win & no fight of the night bonus.
