Southampton. WTF. Atleti wallops Barça and then loses to Zilina (not a bad team by any account, but come on...) Rubin Kazan 1-1 vs. whoever the fuck that team is... Liege losing to Molde (even if it's away game) RB Salzburg losing Well, RB Salzburg have shown that they can lose against anyone, so hardly a surprise :D

At least its 3-3 now They could have easily scored 10 this game, but to be fair they hit the woodwork 4 times. And still a nice comeback, 0-3 must have been quite the shock. Yeah i am happy they pulled it back but even though Odds played good, winning 4-3 is nothing BVB can be proud of^^ glad they showed moral and won though. They really have to fix their scoring :/ but it's been like this since forever so i expect nothing to change^^ On August 21 2015 05:47 Maenander wrote: That performance in the beginning sure was Castro's way of saying I'd rather sit on the bench than play right back. haha, good one he is pretty good on 6 but as a defender... well this game didn't really qualify him for doing that again He played quite a few matches as lb/rb during his career and that was something talked about quite a lot during the last months. Apparently he talked to Tuchel about that and it was clear that he will be played as a midfielder. Now with all the injuries/lack of match fitness on that position he had to do it and most fans will inteprete his performance as being pissed instead of having a bad day or playing out of position and bad as a result. I knew he was doing it at Leverkusen for some games but was he really that good on that position? The games i cought were decent but nothing mindblowing. Maybe it was just a bad day but i hope Pisczec is back soon so there won't be any discussion Edit: Obviously i dont think he was playing bad on purpose, i dont think he would do that + it would ruin all his chances to play again I'm not too sure about his recent past but reading posts here and there it seems that lots of Leverkusen fans would tell you that for long parts of his career he made a fine job as a defender but he has his off-days which is also true for Hummels. Both having a bad start definitely did not help today.
As I said earlier I wouldn't bet on Pisczcek making a difference. He seemed extremely off during the last months. In addition having such a weak right side made Kampl look bad. I understand the critics who say that he runs a lot without having an impact but quite a few times he drew the opponents defenders into the center but there was nobody behind him to profit from the space he created whereas Schmelzer is always present when needed on the left. While it is okay and standard that one side is stronger and more impactful we'd ideally want a better rb. Hummels normally fills the role of the left cb which leads to the left side being dominant. When both the right cb and the rb have absolutely no impact that'll be a problem at some point during the season. Looking at the dominant style we've shown during the first games I'd totally trust Durm and Kirch to play the rb we need but they aren't here at the moment.

so supposedly the steua president went totally bonkers after the loss vs rosenborg, fired two players (one striker who had a couple bad misses), said everyone would get a 50% salary cut..

Dear Chelsea fans I thought that Baba is going to be benched a lot but read that Azpi could move to the right which means that Ivanovic will lose his spot. Is that really a possibility? Sincerely, smr

The reason Dave had to play LB was due to protecting JT as Dave has pace. However with Baba coming in and JT now looking like he is gonna be rested alot more it frees up width. Baba - Zouma - Cahill - Dave Will be seen alot this season.
Also transfer talk today nice for Chelsea fans :D
Pogba bids to be made and Stones gonna hand in a transfer request to speed things up for us

Ivanovic isn't finished yet though. He's still a quality player and i would expect him to be playing every match again by the end of the season.

Hell he's creating plays as much as Hazard in an extent I also don't think Zouma is good in long run, he should be played in high stakes games where he should feel the pressure from the bench to perform well. Playing regularly he becomes sloppy.

Guy is perfect Chelsea material from what he did for Augsburg. Most cross and most recovered balls in whole of Bundesliga last season.

He said "I don't know of any transfer request" was his exact quote. That is also because he is "going" to hand it in according to UK press.
On Pogba front, there were rumours he had signed a pre deal between Juve and Barca that he joins in January was the last i heard of the situation. Who knows we find out who credible the Chelsea bidding is going to be. They want Cuadrado too and we don't want Cuadrado....more bait to entice them in

Yeah he will play no doubt, but not as much he needs a few weeks out of the side with how he has started this season. Absolutely terrible, looks like he has lost 2 yards of pace in the summer with how he is getting beaten in every 1 on 1. Also his crossing for his whole life is 1 in 100. Switching Dave across would make so many Chelsea fans happy

Can I have Ivanovic as a backup-rb for the next 10 months then? : )

Athletic failed against Ziliza... but Barcelona defense will miss Pique, Alba, Matieu and Adriano... Maybe we will see Vermaelen as full back in Alba position xDD

Sven Bender is so much worse than his twin brother Lars now. He was a liability against Odd.
Maybe Dortmund should pay them money to switch places
