Spain: 38 + 9 + 13 = 60. Italy: 38 + 5 +13 = 56. England: 38 + 6 (FA) + 6 (League Cup) + 13 = 63 in shortest way, 67 at longest way for quadruple if you dont win 1st leg in all rounds at FA cup. You can consider that top spanish clubs dont use top players in first rounds at copa del rey. In other words, they actually play 56-58 games in spain. I did this math because I have heard many foreigner player not liking to play in england because there are too many games. It seems that you have to play ~7 more games yearly in england than elsewhere. edit: based on numbers, england should remove FA then they all are very similiar with ~56 games. | ||
