That they should considerer all the year, not only a few months.
My Barcelona players would be Neymar, Messi and Busquets, because they were awesome all the year, and for me, the best in their positions.
Edit: I forgot Pique on my list. He came back to the top this year after two poor seasons. (And, the same way I said that two previous year Pique should be out of the list and Ramos was awesome, this year is reversed)

He was terrible the first 4 months of the years, most people thought he was going to leave barcelona and he defended poor and crossed the ball worst. He played well two months around CL semifinal and final. Then he renewed the contract and he is decent now, but he still makes many mistakes.
I have doubts about Iniesta too, he has been awesome this season since September. But before summer he was very irregular and only played a few great matches.
I have the impression that the people who vote this list only watch Barcelona in the few CL matches but not in the regular competition "la liga".For example, I would prefer Busquets in that list before Iniesta or Alves, that list does not even has defensive midfield, lol.
Finally, Ramos is the biggest joke of all. This has been his worst year in Real Madrid and his state of form is so bad that most Madrid fans are saying that he should be in the bench and that Varane and Pepe should play right now.
Agreed on everything :D I think Jordi Alba is almost as underrated as Busquets. The little guy is a total beast, both in attack and defending, and makes very few mistakes.
Also James is just too mediocre to make that list imo

Iniesta has been a beast since February/March. MVP of that Champions League final, MVP of most of the big games this season. I'm not sure it's going to last since he's getting older but he's been amazing in 2015 and deserves to be in that list.
Ramos could be out of that list, but then I don't know who to put there... I don't watch enough Bundesliga games to judge Boateng and I don't see anyone else really shining recently. I don't know where you read that people wanted Ramos to be on the bench; if anything people have been kind of disappointed with Varane's progression and Pepe has done nothing amazing.

Goalkeeper: don't really care. Prizes won means Bravo wins it, but I don't mind Neuer getting it.
Defense: I haven't watched many Atletico matches, but has Godin been getting worse or something? Otherwise I'd put him over Ramos or Piqué. Alves has been good in the important matches this year, but for some reason he doesn't fit, yet I can't think of any other right-back that deserves it..
Midfield: midfield is pretty hard to figure out as well. No team other than Barça has been looking 'great' last year imo. Juventus got to the final of the CL beating a malfunctioning Real Madrid, which is a good achievement, but the other tree was more stacked with Bayern, PSG and Bayern (and to some extent Manchester City). They got destroyed in the final. I'm not sure who to choose.. I'm inclined to put Müller in there alongside Iniesta and Busquets. If Real Madrid had a better year you could put Kroos or Modric there as well but I believe they've been injured a lot? James looks out of place for sure, he hasn't even played much under Benitez. Juventus midfielders are a bit overrated in my opinion.
Attack: gotta put Ronaldo and Messi in there, although arguably you could put Neymar in it over Ronaldo. He's been almost as effective as Ronaldo and he's won a lot of thropies. Striker position I'd put Lewandowski over Suarez pretty much because it would be too much Barça . Only other that comes to mind is Aguero but he's been injured a lot. Aguero is also the only one in the premier league to come close to the better players in the world imo (ehrr Silva is pretty good as well I guess).

You are right Twisted. Godin is probably the best defender of the world now. Atlético has received 8 goals this season, the least in the top 5 leagues.
He should be instead of Ramos.

Whilst Godin probably is better defensively than Ramos. Ramos gives u lots more threat offensively and on top of that is twice the ball player of your average centre midfielder too.

Uhhh have you seen what a set piece monster Godin is ? He probably doesnt have the same ability on the ball but he is just as dangerous on set pieces, and a way better defender.

Yeah but Ramos then has his random freekicks too right. Both probably good for 5 goals a season i guess.

If we are talking about an ideal team you'd want Godin in it, drop either Pique or Ramos to fit him in. He may not have the same ability on the ball as Ramos or Pique, but that is fine you can leave that to those guys but he is that defensive rock that just makes everyone more comfortable in their roles.

Leicester denied by a dreadful penalty decision in the 88th minute. Spurs generally dominated play (73% possession) but are toothless up front without Kane. Having one senior striker in the squad is criminal.

After looking at replay, i too don't see how that isn't a penalty. The ball is GOING to go to Rose(?) if it doesn't touch his arm and he is in behind him. Because it hits his arm, 1 Rose stops and 2 the ball doesn't fall into his path. That is for me when a handball needs to be given.
