Yeah but less than usual I think. I'm a bit disappointed actually. I mean, yeah there are a few surprises like Alexis Sanchez (not that he isn't good of course !) but I expected a few more random names. I think team captain shouldn't vote by the way, only the journalists seem quite objective. When you see CR7 putting three Real names, he doesn't represent his nation but his club, that's too corporate.

Isn't that exactly why the FIFA best 11 didn't include that many German/Bayern players? You kind of prove that point by yourself.

If Germany/Bayern's wins were team efforts instead of a few individual players standing out, then it's logical that there's less players of those teams in the FIFA team. It's comprised of the best individual players.

Say for example that all of Bayern's or German players were all 8's and 9's, some of the 9's would be selected for the team. If Real Madrid and Barcelona then have like 3 10's and the rest is 8's and 7's, then you'll have more players of those teams in the FIFA team, while on average the Bayern/German team was better. It's kind of crude, but hope it makes sense.

Something about the world XI and germany: The world XI vote is voted by FIFPRO, not FIFA. Not every country (or their respective players associations) is a member of FIFPRO, and in particular, of all major football nations, germany is the only one who apparently is not part of FIFPRO in any way. From what I read in the voting procedures, (http://www.fifpro.org/en/events/world-xi/world-xi/voting-procedures), this means that football players in germany more or less are not allowed to vote for the world XI (even though they have apparently received votes from germany, I could not find out how much theses votes actually matter for the decision).
I would imagine that this means that FIFPRO/the players casting the votes have relatively little reason to make german/Bundesliga players appear in the world XI.
