that a team whose best player for parts of last year was Ashley Young could never be relevant. I'd like to be smug and quote myself but I'll be the bigger guy here.

If you claim to be the bigger guy, you wouldn't have brought it up at all ![]()

The only reason im not quoting it is because im to lazy to use the search function. Plenty of Mou horny's here, should be appreciated.

They claim that winning 3 knockout matches is enough to win the tournament. While thats just a minor error, when they make suggestions about how to improve the knockout structure, they completely ignore most scheduling issues that their suggestions would bring along. They would make it possible for teams from the same group to meet in the ro16 or ro8. Or that a team with 5 rest days plays a team that had just 2 rest days in the ro16. Sure there may be fairer knockout stage draws, but finding them isnt as easy as they make it sound.

What must be a slap in th face for United fans is for LVG to come out and say it was a good performance and his team 'showed character'.

there seems to be absolutely nothing redeeming looking through out the past year or so we've had him that anyone else could have done.

Jeonbuk won the K League comfortably and the usual Pohang, Seoul and Suwon Bluewings will join them in the AFC competition. Daejon and Busan were woeful and luckily we now have relegation so it's unacceptable to have teams that bad and neither will appear in next years competition as Busan lost the playoff finals to FC Suwon. Disappointingly Sangju (The military team (football's Airforce Ace)) won the K-League Challenge so they will be playing top flight football again next year. I say that's disappointing because though we all cheered for Airforce Ace and loved the underdogs in Esports. The reality of Sanju is that they play at a ground in the middle of nowhere with just a thousand or so fans watching and it's not really great for the Korean football to have them in the top flight. It also speaks of the weakness of the second League that the military team tops the table. Having said that Dageu where hugley unlucky finishing on level point sand goal difference and only not getting promoted because Sanju had more goals scored for them. FC Suwon winning the play offs and now been promoted is actually pretty awesome. They are not a big Chaebol team but are actually a community backed 'real' team. Which is great for Korean football and they need far more teams like that. Hopefully they won't get hammered too badly next season when they play against the big boys and it will be great to have a Suwon Derby. Korean football desperately needs more teams like that to start popping up.

Suk Hyun-Jun He currently plays for Vitória de Setubal (which are 6th on the League) but he is, imho, one of the two top player of the team along with André Horta and if he continues with this performance he will go to a better club really soon. Is he relevant at all on the Korean football Scene?
