I have to applaud Peru game, even with 10 they managed to put so much pressure in, game was pretty bad from Chile... Thank god for that Zambrano guy

He created a very well balanced team. i always thought that besides Chile and Argentina, Peru was deff the best team this CA... And hopefully for the good of SA football this is a step for Peru to comeback to older times, a country with a refined quality of football. Peru was also playing better 11v11 and unlike Uruguay they tried to control the ball and attack, from the stadium you could easily see how organized was Peru's movement, they looked like a block. What a player is Guerrero also, what a player. Untill the red card, which pretty much gave us the ticket to the final. Russia 2018 qualifiers will be sick if most teams can keep their performance.

![]() Lionel Messi claimed after Friday's Argentina-Colombia game that the referee shot down his complaints about roughhouse treatment, reminding him that they were in South America, not Europe. "I asked him about a couple of incidents and he said 'This is South America and this is how the game is played here'. I guess they [referees] call the shots on the pitch and they choose what to allow", Messi said after his country's penalty shootout win over the 'Cafeteros' in the Copa América quarter-finals. The official in question, the Mexican Roberto García Orozco, showed eight yellow cards during what was a hard-fought encounter in Viña del Mar. Messi was among those booked. http://www.marca.com/en/2015/06/28/en/football/international_football/1435513415.html
