Honestly I could care less if I lose the bet. I'd take the money hit and bow down to Conor McGregor's greatness. It's a win win situation IMO though. If Conor wins he's a legit monster at 145. If Chad Mendes proves why he's the #1 contender and wins this fight I walk away with $500. I CANT LOSE. Either we see Aldo vs McGregor finally or we get the disappointing Aldo vs Mendes III (with money in my pocket :D ) --- Honestly though the odds seems ridiculous. I thought Mendes would at LEAST be an even bet.

In Other News: by missing UFC 189 Aldo is out $4 million. He'll never get $4 million to fight Mendes. So he's gotta be cheering for Mcgregor. http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/7/8/8910211/morning-report-ufc-189-dana-white-jose-aldo-conor-mcgregor-chad-mendes-chael-sonnen-mma-news if Mcgregor wins then the money invested in the UFC-Hype-Train still can reap a big reward with an Aldo v. Mcgregor fight in the near future. If Mendes wins then the house of cards the UFC has constructed around Mcgregor will go down as Mendes v. Aldo 3 will not draw flies.

The UFC continues to build a promotional house of cards around Mcgregor. Mcgregor is the biggest hitter in the division because he is also the biggest fighter in the division. The weight cuts will catch up with him as he gets older. Mcgregor is flat out too big to fight at 145. With that said, i would avoid the Mcgregor/Mendes fight. Not enough information on Mcgregor to make a good estimate of what will happen.

NO RAGRETS. #TeamMiniMendes something about connor's confidence about not giving an F is swaying my decision. I would have thought that he would have wanted to take a fight against Edgar rather than Mendes

things are getting nasty http://www.mmafighting.com/2015/7/10/8930591/dana-white-jose-aldo-did-not-have-a-broken-rib-the-x-rays-he-released "He had to cut something like 24 pounds, and if he couldn't physically do it the way that he does it, he was afraid that he couldn't make weight," White continued. "That was really the issue. But he did not have a broken rib. It was a bruise. Every x-ray he sent out was of an old injury. What you saw right there on his body was an old injury, not a new injury. "It wasn't UFC doctors (who cleared him), either. It was three different doctors."

If Mendes and Aldo fight again Mendes will do at least as well as he did last time. Here is the weigh-in the Co-Main and Main Event weigh ins begin around the 26.5 minute mark
