"most people standing square get bull rushed over..." "Rumble is so strong he can still defend take downs even with his very square stance" "DC has a clear advantage in a fight going more than 3 rounds" "DC is good at staying relaxed" "DC closing the distance against Rumble will be very dangerous early in the fight" "Rumble strikes with a very Cro Cop style using 1 hand to measure and another to strike"
"Rumble has the most under 1 minute KOs in UFC history"
The Weidman v. Belfort analysis begins at 10:30
Belfort likes to circle to his left which is unusual for a southpaw , but he is so quick he can get away with it.
According to Meltzer's Wrestling Observer Newsletter the Rousey UFC 184 PPV in LA did 590,000 buys. The previous PPV record for a female main event was 450,000 buys.
Clearing aside the promotional hyberbole: Rousey isn't the #1 draw in the UFC, but her drawing power is improving.
The Mighty Mouse vs Horiguchi fight was actually pretty fun to watch. Rousey vs Zingano was horrible from an 'entertainment' perspective. I was just like "What!? That's it?" and had to go watch the Gracie Breakdown video. That fight was pretty telling, though. Cat Zingano was arguably the toughest fighter Rousey has faced to-date, and she made it look easier than any of her other fights.
The only big draw Rousey will ever get is versus Cyborg. The biggest draw Mighty Mouse can get is a super fight with Dillashaw.

I'm betting on johnson, he has looked like such a beast in every fight I have seen him in. And even behind, he's always just one punch from winning. He actually kinda reminds me of Chuck Liddel. Using his wrestling to stand up and throwing bombs!
i think you can only sprawl and brawl so far before someone calls your sprawl bluff into a fucking overhand right. if DC's camp is any good, they'll probably aim for the fake takedown on Johnson, then set up an overhand right off of the feint.
the guy speaks 3 languages and english ain't his best... his english is better than my portuguese and my spanish.... so i'll give him a pass.
early in his career GSP's broken english actually endeared him to english speaking crowds.. especially the way he described his knockout of that short "Muscle Shark" guy to Rogan after the fight.
Weidman said. "They went from 500 to 1,200, which is, like, extremely, extremely high. This is a guy who was on testosterone replacement therapy because he needed it for so long, yet his testosterone is four times the amount of mine, and I'm 10 years younger."
It he doesn't want to compete against roided up people, why is he in MMA? Or pro sports for that matter?
Should we really believe he is the only clean person in high lvl MMA? I didn't examine Belfort's test profile. But if it is like some other suspicious pro athletes that test negative, he would test positive for sure(meaning 90% for sure) if they did an isotope ratio test.
