Where as jones sits out side and picks a guy apart. That being said I think its like rock paper scissors at the top of the LHW. I would pick dc over rumble again, Jones over DC again and Rumble over jones. But stupid jones screwed that up. Hopefully as DC said, he gets his shit together.
To be fair, cormier had no business being lucid after getting hit by Rumble's right. In 99% of fights, rumble swarming someone after that wicked right is the right move.
Who do you guys see Cormier defending his title first against, assuming Jones isn't back from legal matters and suspension by then? I can't see Ryan Bader getting the shot even after the post-fight press conference.
At the same time, you have Gustafsson, who is coming off of a TKO loss to Johnson, OSP and Teixeira are booked to fight each other, Rashad Evans is still out injured, I believe, and Patrick Cummins can't fight him again.
Depends on how fast Johnson fixes his shit, any news on how bad his situation is right now?
Also Rockhold vs Weidman, hope this is the next fight. Both Rockhold and Weidman are huge for their weightclass, will be interesting to see how that fight goes.

i think u mean Jones. its of course being kept as hush-hush as possible. that's partly why they stripped him of the belt. if he defended his belt last night.... the questions being fired at Jones would've been brutal.
right now they are deciding whether or not there will be a grand jury hearing testimony... and Jones has no travel restrictions placed on him.
the civil case probably won't be resolved until the baby is born.
The next LHW challenger will be Ryan Bader. DC and Bader did their little thing (which I think was staged by the two, but can't prove anything) and Bader is certainly high enough in the rankings to go fight for the title. Gustafsson will probably fight OSP or someone.

White estimates this event will generate $1 million to $1.2 million PPV buys. furthermore, he claims the UFC will break even on this event once you take into account the expenses of promoting it.

Ryan Bader sucks though.
Sometimes, people who suck get to fight for titles. But he's not THAT bad.

Eh, it's hard to believe those two aren't somewhat friendly with one another, and that it's definitely just made-up beef that the two are just going along with. Daniel Cormier trains with Cain Velasquez, who attended and wrestled in Arizona State University, where Ryan Bader also attended and wrestled, and I believe there was an interview with Velasquez that he trained with Power MMA, which is Bader's camp.
Looking at it, save for Rashad Evans coming back from injury, seems like Bader's going to be the next fighter to fight for the title. What an odd story it would be for him to win the title though. I can't see Bader beating the likes of Johnson or Gustafsson, and he has already lost to Teixeira and Jones. I think if Bader somehow manages to win, he'd be in running for one of the biggest upsets in UFC title fights.
regardless if that was a setup or not i lost alot of respect for DC there. the guy attempts to prove himself so much that he ends up walking on egg shells. he talks himself up so much about being the good guy, and a rational person, then shit talks the moment he has the power to. DC will be put in his place again the moment jones comes back and he won't ever have another opportunity to mouth off like that again. he can play the humble guy act all he wants but moment the cameras are on him, this veil of nice guy sheds off.
despite how jon jones looks, at least he knew where he stood when it came to the mentality of a fighter. jon jones's post interview when he beat DC was actually hilarious, "reporter: jones do you feel bad now that it's over? Jones replies: No i don't feel bad at all that he's sitting there crying. had he won he'd be sitting right over there mouthing off saying whatever the fuck he wanted" and there DC goes proving him right. he needs his ass beat again to permanently make him humble.
