No good Defenders, no power man in midfield to make them tick. Taking off Herrara (guessing he was injured) left huge creative hole to try and link up to Mata and Rooney.
Swansea just passing through their defense so easily. It was Sigurdsson and Gomis taking on 5 yanited defenders with 2 passes LOL t.t

Calm your tits, United have both starting wing backs injured as well as RVP not in action. Evans is also out. Van Gaal came into this a bit too confident and played youngsters, I'd say, but this Swansea team was also set up well to counter the 3-5-2 formation. They're not dead after one game, fuck.

united have hardly made changes to their squad from last year though. They are the EPL side with the fewest transfers. I think united are relying too much on moyes being shit, than the squad being shit.

Have in mind that LVG likes heavy training so it's likely that ManU will have important players injured most of the time.

Well, I guess van Gaal got a verification on his team. It's still early on, but they need to really improve their defensive line and center of the field. Still, good game by Swansea, Sigurdsson especially played well on offense.
